Caterpillar Feeding on a Sundew Plant

The caterpillar of a plume moth ( Trichoptilus parvulus ) was found feeding on a sundew plant ( Drosera capillaries ) in Florida. The larva eats the stalked glands with their sticky secretion, the leaf blades, and even dead insects trapped by the plant.
