Nuclear pore links Fob1‐dependent rDNA damage relocation to lifespan control

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Damaged rDNA accumulates at a specific perinuclear interface that couples nucleolar escape with nuclear envelope association. Nuclear pores at this site help inhibit Fob1‐induced rDNA instability. This spatial organization of damage handling supports a functional link between nuclear architecture, rDNA stability, and replicative lifespan in yeast.

Correlation between 25-hydroxyvitamin D level of lactating mothers and bone mineral density of infants and analysis of risk factors [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Medical Biochemistry
Background: Aim was to demonstrate the influencing factors of infant bone mineral density (BMD) and its correlation with serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D (25-(OH)D) in nursing mothers. Methods: 200 children aged 0 č 1 years were rolled into normal group (n=120)

Estimation of monthly sunshine duration using satellite derived cloud data

open access: yesTheoretical and Applied Climatology, 2022
Abstract Sunshine duration (SD) is one of the critical meteorological parameters used in different fields of application such as climate, renewable energy and agriculture. In this respect, determination and/or estimation of the temporal and spatial variability of SD is critical.

Changes in Immune‐Inflammation Status and Acute Ischemic Stroke Prognosis in Prospective Cohort

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Inflammation is a critical risk factor for poor outcomes in cerebral infarction. Prior studies focused primarily on baseline inflammation status, neglecting dynamic longitudinal changes. We try to investigate the association between immune‐inflammation status alterations and stroke prognosis, and evaluated three systemic biomarkers'

Climate Signals in Wine Quality Time-Series of North-East Hungary [PDF]

open access: yesAerul şi Apa: Componente ale Mediului, 2017
Today’s viticulture regions for quality wine production are located in relatively narrow geographical and therefore climatic niches that put them at greater risk from climate change than other more broad acre crops.
