A Deep Learning Approach for Automated Total Sunspot Number Estimation
Accurate sunspot number estimation is essential for understanding the long-term evolution of solar activity and its impact on space weather. Sunspot numbers have been manually determined, leading to inconsistencies and observer-dependent biases.

Width of Sunspot Generating Zone and Reconstruction of Butterfly Diagram
Based on the extended Greenwich-NOAA/USAF catalogue of sunspot groups it is demonstrated that the parameters describing the latitudinal width of the sunspot generating zone (SGZ) are closely related to the current level of solar activity, and the growth ...

An upper limit prediction of the peak sunspot number for solar cycle 24
In this paper we address the prediction of the maximum sunspot number in solar cycle 24. We correlate the integral sunspot activity related to the variability of the cycle decrease speed in the declining phase with the height of the next sunspot maximum.

Is the F10.7cm – Sunspot Number relation linear and stable?
The F10.7cm radio flux and the Sunspot Number are the most widely used long-term indices of solar activity. They are strongly correlated, which led to the publication of many proxy relations allowing to convert one index onto the other.

Power law relating 10.7 cm flux to sunspot number
To investigate the relation between observations of the 10.7 cm flux and the international sunspot number so that a physical unit may be ascribed to historical records, both polynomial and power law models are developed giving the radio flux as a ...

This study identifies the HDAC6/GATA4/HtrA1 axis as a critical driver of cellular senescence in the inner ear. GATA4 nuclear translocation, facilitated by HDAC6 downregulation, transcriptionally activates HtrA1, promoting hair cell senescence, SASP, and audio‐vestibular dysfunction in models of Ménière's disease and age‐related audio‐vestibular ...
