Modifying the Morphology, Doping, and Electroanalytical Performance of Carbon Nanofibers by Varying the Ratio of Etchant and Feedstock Gases

NH3 acts as both an etchant and N‐dopant in CNF synthesis. By adjusting NH3 and C2H2 ratios (30 : 1, 4 : 1), we produced N‐doped CNFs with varying doping levels, showing differences in morphology and electrochemical properties. Higher doping improved dopamine selectivity, demonstrating a simple yet effective method to enhance CNF performance.
