A Learning Model with Memory in the Financial Markets
ABSTRACT Learning is central to a financial agent's aspiration to gain persistent strategic advantage in asset value maximisation. The implicit mechanism that transforms this aspiration into an observed value gain is the speed of error corrections (demonstrating, an agent's speed of learning) whilst facing increased uncertainty.

This study utilized near‐infrared spectroscopy to monitor real‐time blood oxygen changes in the lower limb microcirculation of ECMO patients and performed disease severity classification based on this information. The classification models demonstrated strong predictive performance in both VV‐ECMO and VA‐ECMO patients.

ABSTRACT Background The acidic weathering of soils is known as a problem for decades. It leads to the deterioration of essential soil properties, including soil fertility, water, or cation buffering capacity due to solution and solid storage of Al3+ by polymerization in the interlayer of (former) swellable clay minerals.

A New Recursive Finite-Time Convergent Parameter Estimation Algorithm
A recursive algorithm for parameter estimation converging in finite time is introduced. It includes as special case the classical Linear Recursive Square algorithm, and is a generalization of the Super-Twisting Algorithm (STA), a second order sliding ...
