Super-resolution FRET measurements
Nanoscale, 2021Recent advances combining FRET and super-resolution techniques are presented. This merger of methods is opening exciting opportunities to study the spatial organization and functional state of (bio)molecules and materials at the nanoscale.

We argue that measurement of the contrast of the image of a dark bar on a bright background does not give a measure of resolution, but of detection sensitivity.
