Activation of the mitochondrial protein OXR1 increases pSyn129 αSynuclein aggregation by lowering ATP levels and altering mitochondrial membrane potential, particularly in response to MSA‐derived fibrils. We describe new, simple methods for linking fluorophores to swellable polymers that enable expansion microscopy with conventional fluorescently labeled antibodies and fluorescent proteins. The methods improve the procedure and expand the palette of compatible labels.
