Niδ+ Atoms Anchored In Situ on Ultrathin Ni‐Phyllosilicate Nanosheet Ensure High‐Efficient CO2 Reduction into CO at Moderate‐Low Temperature

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A novel supported Ni‐based catalyst, consisting of abundant Niδ+ atoms with low electron density anchored in situ on ultrathin Ni‐phyllosilicate nanosheet (a‐Niδ+−PSNS, 0< δ ≤1), achieve simultaneous outstanding CO2 conversion and CO selectivity. Their ultrathin nanosheet enables abundant anchored Niδ+ atoms to fully expose and disperse, which can ...

Hydroxyl‐Rich Hyperbranched Polyglycerol Additive for Low‐Temperature Aqueous Zinc Batteries: Sustained and Efficient Dehydration and High‐Conductivity

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Inspired by antifreeze proteins and ion channels in polar fish, β‐cyclodextrin–grafted hyperbranched polyglycerol (CDhPG) mimics interfacial water structuring and ion dehydration. The ice‐matching hydroxyl spacing (2.76 Å) enables IRI activity, while dendritic cavities tailor Zn2+ solvation and enhance low‐temperature conductivity for sustainable ...

Electric Field Modulation of Interlayer Coupling via Piezostrain in a Synthetic Antiferromagnet

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Controlling the interlayer exchange coupling (IEC) in synthetic antiferromagnets (SAFs) using an electric field is a promising route toward energy‐efficient spintronic devices. In this study, electric field induced‐strain modulation of IEC in Co/Ru/Co SAF/PMN‐PT is demonstrated.

A Subset of Pro‐inflammatory CXCL10+ LILRB2+ Macrophages Derives From Recipient Monocytes and Drives Renal Allograft Rejection

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study uncovers a recipient‐derived monocyte‐to‐macrophage trajectory that drives inflammation during kidney transplant rejection. Using over 150 000 single‐cell profiles and more than 850 biopsies, the authors identify CXCL10+ macrophages as key predictors of graft loss.

Support‐Induced Interfacial Effects Steer Methanol Selectivity in CO2 Electroreduction by Immobilized Cobalt Phthalocyanine

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
Immobilizing CoPc on a carbon support switches its CO2 reduction selectivity from CO to CH3OH. Multiscale simulations reveal that the support actively modulates the catalytic environment by inducing desolvation of bottom layer of CoPc, which lowers the protonation barrier while leaving CO desorption nearly unaffected.

Persistent Magnetism and Tunable Doping of Monolayer Graphene via Europium Density Modulation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The modulation of europium density at the graphene/rhenium interface enables electron doping of monolayer graphene both beneath and beyond the van Hove singularity. The interfacial europium is ferromagnetic, with a transition from a mixed Eu(II)/Eu(III) valence in the dense phase to a pure Eu(II) state in the diluted phase.
