Superconducting Diode Effects: Mechanisms, Materials and Applications
Superconducting diode effects, nonreciprocal current characteristics of superconductors in the absence of both time reversal and inversion symmetry, exhibit non‐dissipative supercurrent in one direction and ohmic current in the opposite. Abstract Superconducting diode effects (SDEs) generally emerge in superconducting systems where both time‐reversal ...

2D Nonlayered Materials for Transistor Application
2D nonlayered materials possess a vast material library and have comprehensive applications in transistors. However, at this stage, they hold great potential, but this potential has seen limited exploration compared to 2D layered materials. This review provides statistics on the nonlayered material library, CVD synthesis and characterization, advances ...

This work investigates the potential of RuC nanosheet to detect highly toxic environmental compounds – namely, Furan (Fur) and 1,n‐Dioxan (1,n‐Diox) – using DFT methods. The energetic manifestations demonstrate the preferability of the parallel configuration in the adsorption of Fur/1,n‐Diox molecules over the RuC nanosheet than the vertical one.

ABSTRACT Quantum key distribution (QKD) allows the generation of cryptographic keys beyond the computational hardness paradigm and is befitting for secure data transmission requiring long‐term security. The communication distance of fiber‐based QKD, however, is limited to a few hundred kilometers due to the exponential scaling of signal attenuation ...
