Superconvergence for Triangular Linear Edge Elements
Communications in Computational Physics, 2019Summary: Superconvergence for the lowest-order edge finite elements on strongly regular triangulation is studied. By the averaging technique, superconvergence of order \(\mathcal{O}(h^2)\) is established at the midpoint of the interior edge for both the finite element solution and the curl of the finite element solution.

Superconvergent dispersion relations
Annals of Physics, 1968Abstract The more general aspects of the saturation problem for superconvergent dispersion relations are reviewed and discussed. It is found that complete sets of superconvergence conditions for forward amplitudes generally have solutions corresponding to higher collinear symmetries of the vertices.

Superconvergence of a Chebyshev Spectral Collocation Method
Journal of Scientific Computing, 2007A Chebyshev spectral collocation method is derived for approximating the solution of the second-order two point differential boundary value problems in terms of Chebyshev polynomials \[ u_p= \sum^p_1 a_m\psi_m(x),\quad\psi_m(x)= \int^x_{-1} T_{m-1}(t)\,dt,\;m\geq 1. \] Superconvergence of the derivatives \(u_p'\) at zero's of \(T_m(x)\) is proved.

Superconvergence Analysis for Metamaterials
2012In this chapter, we first give a quick review of superconvergence analysis in Sect. 5.1. Then we carry out the superclose analysis for 3-D metamaterial Maxwell’s equations represented by the Drude model. The analysis for a semi-discrete scheme is presented in Sect. 5.2, which is followed by the analysis for two fully-discrete schemes in Sect. 5.3.
