Diffusion of hydrocarbons diluted in supercritical carbon dioxide. [PDF]
AbstractMutual diffusion of six hydrocarbons (methane, ethane, isobutane, benzene, toluene or naphthalene) diluted in supercritical carbon dioxide ($${\hbox {CO}}_{2}$$ CO 2 ) is studied by molecular dynamics simulation near the Widom line, i.e., in the ...

Synthesis of dimethyl carbonate in supercritical carbon dioxide [PDF]
The reactivity of carbon dioxide with methanol to form dimethyl carbonate was studied in the presence of the n-butylmethoxytin compounds n-Bu3SnOCH3, n-Bu2Sn(OCH3)2 , and [n-Bu2(CH3O)Sn]2 O. The reaction occurred under solventless conditions at 423 K and was produced by an increase in CO2 pressure.

Organosilicone Compounds in Supercritical Carbon Dioxide
This review considers the key advantages of using supercritical carbon dioxide as a solvent for systems with organosilicon compounds. Organosilicon polymeric materials synthesis as well as the creation and modification of composites based on them are discussed.

Sterilization of microorganisms with supercritical carbon dioxide. [PDF]
The sterilizing effect of supercritical carbon dioxide (SC-C02) is described as compared with gaseous C02(G-C02) and liquid C02(L-C02). Baker’s yeast, Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus and conidia of Aspergillus niger were sterilized by treating with SC-C02 at 200 atm and 35°C when the water content of each microorganism was 70 ~ 90%.

Continuous Formation of Limonene Carbonates in Supercritical Carbon Dioxide
We present a continuous flow method for the conversion of bioderived limonene oxide and limonene dioxide to limonene carbonates using carbon dioxide in its supercritical state as a reagent and sole solvent. Various ammonium- and imidazolium-based ionic liquids were initially investigated in batch mode.

Solubility of Tridodecylamine in Supercritical Carbon Dioxide [PDF]
Using a continuous flow apparatus, the solubility of tridodecylamine (TDA) in supercritical CO2 (scCO2) has been measured at temperatures of (308.1, 318.1, and 328.1) K in the pressure range of (8.0 to 40.0) MPa and a flow rate of (150 ± 10) mL·min−1.

Solubility of Acetophenone in Supercritical Carbon Dioxide [PDF]
The solubility data of acetophenone in supercritical carbon dioxide (scCO2) were measured using a static method at several temperatures (313.15, 323.15, 333.15, and 343.15K) and pressures ranging from10 MPa to 28 MPa. The density based models (Chrastil and Del valle– Aguilera models) and the Peng-Robinson equation of state (PR-EOS) with quadratic and ...

Solubility of lumiracoxib in supercritical carbon dioxide
AbstractThis study aims to use a static-based solubility method for measuring the solubility of lumiracoxib at a temperature of 308–338 K and pressure of 120–400 bar for the first time. The obtained solubility data for lumiracoxib is between 4.74 × 10−5 and 3.46 × 10−4 (mole fraction) for the studied ranges of pressure and temperature.

Enzymatic Interesterification in Supercritical Carbon Dioxide
An enzymatic reaction with supercritical carbon dioxide (SCCO2) as the reaction medium was investigated. Lipase could catalyze the batch type reaction of hydrolysis and interesterification (acidolysis) in SCCO2 at 50°C and 29.4 MPa. The time course of interesterification was influenced by the water content as well as by the kind of reaction medium. The
