Cervical Myofibroblastoma: Expanding the Differential for Cervical Masses. [PDF]
Lower genital tract myofibroblastoma is a gynecologic rarity, with most of the published literature consisting of case reports. Differential diagnoses for lower genital tract soft tissue masses include cervical leiomyomas, nabothian cysts, and other rare tumors such as angiomyofibroblastoma.

A tale of two vulvar angiomyxomas: Two cases and review of literature

Novel EWSR1::GFI1B gene fusion in angiofibroma of soft tissue
We present three cases of EWSR1::GFI1B‐fused soft tissue tumours with bland fibroblastic spindle cells in a myxocollagenous stroma and a distinct thin‐walled branching vascular network. During a limited follow‐up period, there was no recurrence or metastasis.

A rare case of cutaneous myxoma with trichofolliculoma‐like features
Abstract Carney complex is a rare genetic disorder associated with a number of cutaneous lesions, especially cutaneous myxomas. We present a rare case of cutaneous myxoma (superficial angiomyxoma) with trichofolliculoma‐like features in a patient with Carney complex, and explore how the associated histopathology provides critical context for ...

Superficial low‐grade fibromyxoid sarcoma
Abstract Background Low‐grade fibromyxoid sarcoma (LGFMS) typically involves deep soft tissue (beneath the fascia) of the proximal extremities and trunk. Long‐term follow‐up has shown a high rate of local recurrence, metastasis, and death. To the best of our knowledge, there is only one previous large series focusing on superficial LGFMS suggesting ...

An unusual growth in the nail matrix: A case of superficial acral fibromyxoma
Abstract We describe a case of superficial acral fibromyxoma arising within the germinal matrix of the index finger. This is an uncommon localisation of this relatively newly described benign soft tissue tumour. Herein, we discuss the varied clinical presentation, distinguishing histopathological features and important differential diagnoses for this ...
