The Journal of foot surgery, 1984Peripheral nerve injuries may be caused by traction, friction, or compression. The patient's history is helpful in the differential diagnosis of traumatic injury from other causes of peripheral nerve pathology. The authors present and discuss the case history of a patient with a severe plantarflexion and inversion injury.
