Superfields as Representations

Fortschritte der Physik, 1975
AbstractWe study irreducible and reducible representations of the generalized Lie algebra of Wess and Zumino. The algebra is integrated to a group with the help of Grassmann algebras and the representations of the algebra are made into representations of the group. We construct invariant sesquilinear forms that are positive definite for the Wess‐Zumino

Superfield and irreducible superfield structure

Journal of Mathematical Physics, 1986
Field contents for scalar superfields in different numbers of dimensions are tabulated. Tables of field contents for some irreducible superfields included in the scalar superfield in 11 dimensions are also given.

Superparticles and Superfields

2007
This chapter shows very clearly that the Clifford and spin-Clifford bundle formalism (introduced in previous chapters) offers a very simple way to write the equation of motion of a massive spinning particle. Indeed this equation is immediately derived from Frenet equations for a moving frame.

Supertwistors and superfields

Czechoslovak Journal of Physics, 1987
The contour integral formulae of the twistor theory are generalized to the supertwistor case. They yield representations of the superconformal algebrasu(2, 2¦N) in terms of superfields with arbitrary conformal weights which are defined either on chiral or on non-chiral superspaces.

A superfield analysis of supergravity

Annals of Physics, 1979
We construct a superfield theory of supergravity based on new torsion and curvature conditions in a supermanifold, in particular that the latter is superflat with specified (Dirac matrices) super-torsion in the Fermi sector. After an introductory review of super-manifold differential geometry, the super-torsion equations for the achtbein are written ...

Gauge superfield in six dimensions

Physical Review D, 1989
In D = 6 dimensions the gauge superfield V has a higher gauge freedom than in D = 4. In the Wess-Zumino gauge there are no terms with fewer than two Grassmann variables of each type. We find all its tensor components and compute also the chiral superfield strength which contains the linearized curvature tensor of a ''graviton'' field, as well as the ...
