D=7 SU(2) Gauged Supergravity From D=10 Supergravity [PDF]

open access: yesPhys.Lett. B476 (2000) 415-419, 1999
The theory of SU(2) gauged seven-dimensional supergravity is obtained by compactifying ten dimensional N=1 supergravity on the group manifold SU(2).

Pure de Sitter supergravity [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
Using superconformal methods we derive an explicit de Sitter supergravity action invariant under spontaneously broken local N = 1 supersymmetry. The supergravity multiplet interacts with a nilpotent Goldstino multiplet.

de Sitter State in Heterotic String Theory

open access: yesFortschritte der Physik, Volume 72, Issue 11, November 2024.
Abstract Recent no‐go theorems have ruled out four‐dimensional classical de Sitter vacua in heterotic string theory. On the other hand, the absence of a well‐defined Wilsonian effective action and other related phenomena also appear to rule out such time‐dependent vacua with de Sitter isometries, even in the presence of quantum corrections.

Supergravity Was Discovered by D.V. Volkov and V.A. Soroka in 1973, Wasn’t it?

open access: yesEast European Journal of Physics, 2019
Supergravity is a remarkable theory combining supersymmetry and general relativity. While the theory has many developers from across the globe, we wish to address the question who were the real originators of this fantastic idea.

Three-dimensional N=2 supergravity theories: From superspace to components

open access: yes, 2014
For general off-shell N=2 supergravity-matter systems in three spacetime dimensions, a formalism is developed to reduce the corresponding actions from superspace to components. The component actions are explicitly computed in the cases of Type I and Type

Renormalization Group Flows from Five-Dimensional Supergravity [PDF]

open access: yes, 1999
The use of gauged ${\cal N} = 8$ supergravity as a tool in studying the AdS/CFT correspondence for ${\cal N} = 4$ Yang-Mills theory is reviewed. The supergravity potential implies a non-trivial, supersymmetric IR fixed point, and the flow to this fixed ...

Generalised Scherk-Schwarz reductions from gauged supergravity [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
A bstractA procedure is described to construct generalised Scherk-Schwarz uplifts of gauged supergravities. The internal manifold, fluxes, and consistent truncation Ansatz are all derived from the embedding tensor of the lower-dimensional theory.

Recent and new results on octonionic Bergman and Szegö kernels

open access: yesMathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, Volume 47, Issue 10, Page 7888-7901, 15 July 2024.
Very recently one has started to study Bergman and Szegö kernels in the setting of octonionic monogenic functions. In particular, explicit formulas for the Bergman kernel for the octonionic unit ball and for the octonionic right half‐space as well as a formula for the Szegö kernel for the octonionic unit ball have been established.

Line and surface defects in 5D $$N=2$$ N = 2 SCFT from matter-coupled F(4) gauged supergravity

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields
We study supersymmetric solutions of matter-coupled F(4) gauged supergravity in the forms of $$AdS_2\times S^3$$ A d S 2 × S 3 - and $$AdS_3\times S^2$$ A d S 3 × S 2 -sliced domain walls with a non-vanishing two-form field from the supergravity ...

Recycling of iron and steel slag for carbon reduction and low‐environment load application

open access: yesCarbon Neutralization, Volume 3, Issue 4, Page 606-628, July 2024.
This article reviews the coupling of the research progress of blast furnace slag and steel slag in glass‐ceramics, ceramic products, mineral wool, and cementitious in recent years. The research status of CO2 fixation by iron and steel slag was discussed.
