Physicochemical vs Electrochemical Technologies for Metal Recovery – Main Insights, Comparison, Complementarity and Challenges

open access: yesChemistry–Methods, Volume 5, Issue 3, March 2025.
Different electrochemical and physicochemical methods employed for metal recovery and removal from various sources are presented herein, along with their key performance indicators. The main strengths and weaknesses of each technology are discussed in a comparative manner, when possible.

N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 7 On-shell diagrams and supergravity amplitudes in momentum twistor space

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2021
We derive an on-shell diagram recursion for tree-level scattering amplitudes in N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 7 supergravity. The diagrams are evaluated in terms of Grassmannian integrals and momentum twistors, generalising previous results of Hodges in momentum

Double Copy From Tensor Products of Metric BV■‐Algebras

open access: yesFortschritte der Physik, Volume 73, Issue 1-2, February 2025.
Abstract Field theories with kinematic Lie algebras, such as field theories featuring color–kinematics duality, possess an underlying algebraic structure known as BV■‐algebra. If, additionally, matter fields are present, this structure is supplemented by a module for the BV■‐algebra.

Geometric Relational Framework for General‐Relativistic Gauge Field Theories

open access: yesFortschritte der Physik, Volume 73, Issue 1-2, February 2025.
Abstract It is recalled how relationality arises as the core insight of general‐relativistic gauge field theories from the articulation of the generalized hole and point‐coincidence arguments. Hence, a compelling case for a manifestly relational framework ensues naturally.

F-term multi-field inflation in supergravity without stabiliser superfields

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
Realising F -term slow-roll inflation in supergravity is non-trivial due to the well-known η-problem. The common strategy to solve the problem is to impose a shift symmetry on the Kähler potential, but this often leads to a negative potential in the ...

Sen's mechanism for self-dual super Maxwell theory

open access: yesNuclear Physics B
In several elementary particle scenarios, self-dual fields emerge as fundamental degrees of freedom. Some examples are the D=2 chiral boson, D=10 Type IIB supergravity, and D=6 chiral tensor multiplet theory.

Linearised actions for N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ -extended (higher-spin) superconformal gravity

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2019
The off-shell actions for N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ -extended conformal supergravity theories in three dimensions were formulated in [1, 2] for 1 ≤ N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ ≤ 6 using a universal approach.

New higher derivative action for tensor multiplet in N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 2 conformal supergravity in four dimensions

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2020
We will use the covariant superform approach to develop a new density formula for N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 2 conformal supergravity which is based on a fermionic multiplet whose lowest component is a dimension-5/2 spinor.

Alternative Supersymmetric Spectra [PDF]

open access: yes, 2000
We describe the features of supersymmetric spectra, alternative to and qualitatively different from that of most versions of the MSSM. The spectra are motivated by extensions of the MSSM with an extra U(1)' gauge symmetry, expected in many grand unified ...

Interplay Between MW, ΩCDMh2, and (g − 2)μ in Flavor Symmetry–Based Supersymmetric Models

open access: yesAdvances in High Energy Physics, Volume 2025, Issue 1, 2025.
We study the phenomenological implications of the minimal supersymmetric standard model (MSSM) augmented by a nonabelian flavor symmetry labeled as sMSSM. Incorporating this flavor symmetry allows for a significant reduction in the original plethora of free parameters present in the MSSM, ultimately reducing them down to just seven in sMSSM.
