Dynamical Supergravity Breaking via the Super-Higgs Effect Revisited

open access: yes, 2013
We investigate the dynamical breaking of local supersymmetry (supergravity), including the Deser-Zumino super-Higgs effect, via the corresponding one-loop effective potential for the simple but quite representative cases of N=1, D=4 simple supergravity ...

T-Model Higgs Inflation in Supergravity

open access: yes, 2023
We focus on a simple, natural and predictive T model of inflation in Supergravity employing as inflaton the Higgs field which leads to the spontaneous breaking of a U(1)_(B-L) symmetry at the SUSY GUT scale. We use a renormalizable superpotential, fixed by a U(1) R symmetry, and a Kahler potential which parameterizes the Kahler manifold SU(2,1)/(SU(2 ...

Warped anti-de Sitter in 3d (2,0) Supergravity [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2016
We comment on the ubiquity of the so-called warped anti-de Sitter spacetimes in three-dimensional (2,0) supergravity theory. By using isometry-invariant tensors and simple counting, we prove their existence for arbitrary $(2,0)$ supergravity models suitably defined close to a minimal model.

KK Compactification of Supergravity Models

open access: yes, 2019
In this chapter, we will study the KK compactification of supergravity models in higher dimensions. Supergravity models in higher dimensions have: -a graviton, described by the metric \(g_{\mu \nu }\) (which can be written as \(e^a_\mu \eta _{ab}e^b_\nu \)), except for the coupling to fermions, which is written in terms of \(\omega _\mu ^{ab}(e ...

Towards a unified string supergravity model

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 1993
CERN-TH.6903/93, CTP-TAMU-31/93, plain tex with harvmac, 3 figures. A correction is made on the relation between $m_0$ and $m_{1/2}$, numerical results changed significantly. The manuscript ps file and the three ps figures are available via anonymous ftp site tamsun.tamu.edu in directory incoming, filenames: CTP-TAMU-31-93.ps, CTP-TAMU-31-93a.ps, CTP ...

Supergravity Radiative Effects on Soft Terms and the $\mu$ Term

open access: yes, 1997
We compute quadratically divergent supergravity one-loop effects on soft supersymmetry-breaking parameters and the $\mu$ term in generic hidden sector supergravity models.
