Supernova constraints on massive (pseudo)scalar coupling to neutrinos [PDF]
In this paper we derive constraints on the emission of a massive (pseudo)scalar S from annihilation of neutrinos in the core of supernovae through the dimension-4 coupling νν S, as well as the effective dimension-5 operator 1/Λ(νν)(SS).

Neutrino forces in neutrino backgrounds
The Standard Model predicts a long-range force, proportional to G F 2 / r 5 $$ {G}_F^2/{r}^5 $$ , between fermions due to the exchange of a pair of neutrinos. This quantum force is feeble and has not been observed yet.

Flavor stability analysis of dense supernova neutrinos with flavor-dependent angular distributions [PDF]
Numerical simulations of the supernova (SN) neutrino self-induced flavor conversions, associated with the neutrino-neutrino interactions in the deepest stellar regions, have been typically carried out assuming the "bulb-model".

Future Long-Baseline Neutrino Facilities and Detectors
We review the ongoing effort in the US, Japan, and Europe of the scientific community to study the location and the detector performance of the next-generation long-baseline neutrino facility. For many decades, research on the properties of neutrinos and

Diffuse supernova neutrinos: oscillation effects, stellar cooling and progenitor mass dependence [PDF]
We estimate the diffuse supernova neutrino background (DSNB) using the recent progenitor-dependent, long-term supernova simulations from the Basel group and including neutrino oscillations at several post-bounce times.

Neutrino fast pairwise conversions have been postulated to occur in the dense core of a core-collapse supernova (SN), possibly having dramatic consequences on the SN mechanism and the observable neutrino signal.

Self-refraction of supernova neutrinos: mixed spectra and three-flavor instabilities. [PDF]
Neutrinos in a core-collapse supernova undergo coherent flavor transformations in their own background. We explore this phenomenon during the cooling stage of the explosion. Our three-flavor calculations reveal qualitatively new effects compared to a two-

Can one observe Earth matter effects with supernova neutrinos [PDF]
Neutrino oscillations in the Earth matter may introduce peculiar modulations in the supernova (SN) neutrino spectra. The detection of this effect has been proposed as diagnostic tool for the neutrino mass hierarchy at "large" 1-3 leptonic mixing angle ...
