Progenitors of Recombining Supernova Remnants
Usual supernova remnants have either ionizing plasma or plasma in collisional ionization equilibrium, i.e., the ionization temperature is lower than or equal to the electron temperature.

Ortho‐Carborane‐Derived Halogen‐Bonded Sandwich Complexes
A systematic co‐crystallization‐study of a tridentate ortho‐carborane‐based halogen‐bond donor with halides was performed. Several association complexes are evaluated to give further insights into the halogen bond‐strength of this moiety. For iodide, rare octahedral coordination via a sandwich‐like complexation was observed in the solid state when ...

Mixed alkali metals, potassium and additional rubidium or cesium, allow for the synthesis of a straightforward, electron‐precise Zintl phase K7−xAxTl5. The new phase is characterized by SCXRD, PXRD, and DFT. Its metastability is proven by DSC measurements.

X-ray iron-line emission from the SN 185 remnant [PDF]
Radio and optical research was carried out in order to show that the supernova remnant RCW86 is a remnant of the earliest supernova event ever recorded in history (185 AD).

A hydrophobic metal‐organic framework (UHMOF‐100) is grown on a quartz crystal microbalance sensor for the first time. The device enables real‐time, selective detection of monoaromatic BTEX pollutants in water, demonstrating a new strategy for creating robust chemical sensors for challenging environmental monitoring applications. Abstract Environmental

Microvascular Health as a Key Determinant of Organismal Aging
Abstract Aging is a complex, multifaceted process affecting all organ systems, with vascular aging playing a central role in organismal health decline. Beyond its role in circulation, the vascular system acts as a dynamic interface between tissues, influencing countless physiological functions such as tissue regeneration and repair, immune responses ...
