A Statistical Analysis of Galactic Radio Supernova Remnants
We present a revised table of 390 Galactic radio supernova remnants (SNRs) and their basic parameters. Statistical analyses are performed on SNR diameters, ages, spectral indices, Galactic heights, and spherical symmetries.

EMU Detection of a Large and Low Surface Brightness Galactic SNR G288.8–6.3
We present the serendipitous detection of a new Galactic supernova remnant (SNR), G288.8–6.3, using data from the Australian Square Kilometre Array Pathfinder (ASKAP) Evolutionary Map of the Universe (EMU) survey.

Inverse Compton Emission from Galactic Supernova Remnants: Effect of the Interstellar Radiation Field [PDF]
The evidence for particle acceleration in supernova shells comes from electrons whose synchrotron emission is observed in radio and X-rays. Recent observations by the HESS instrument reveal that supernova remnants also emit TeV gamma-rays; long awaited ...

Three Supernova Remnants observed by BeppoSAX [PDF]
We present the results of three observations of shell-type supernova remnants observed by BeppoSAX. Two of the remnants (N132D and Cas A) are oxygen rich supernova remnants. They were observed during the PV phase. SN1006 was observed during A01.

Magnetohydrodynamic Simulations of the Supernova Remnant G1.9+0.3
The youngest Galactic supernova remnant G1.9+0.3 shows a discrete feature between its radio and X-ray morphologies. The observed radio morphology features a single maximum in the north, while the X-ray observation shows two opposite “ears” on the east ...

Particle propagation in clumpy supernova remnants [PDF]
The presence of dense clumps in the environment where a supernova remnant expands might have a strong impact in shaping the observed hadronic gamma-ray spectrum.

Shocks and Particle Acceleration in Supernova Remnants: Observational Features
The last ten years a number of observational advances have substantially increased our knowledge of shock phenomena in supernova remnants. This progress has mainly been made possible by the recent improvements in X-ray and Gamma-ray instrumentation.

Nonthermal X-ray emission from young Supernova Remnants [PDF]
The cosmic-ray spectrum up to the knee ($E\sim 10^{15}$ eV) is attributed to acceleration processes taking place at the blastwaves which bound supernova remnants. Theoretical predictions give a similar estimate for the maximum energy which can be reached

The Effects of Elemental Abundances on Fitting Supernova Remnant Models to Data
Models for supernova remnant (SNR) evolution can be used to determine the energy of the explosion, the age of the SNR, and the density of the surrounding medium by matching observations. Observed SNR properties derived from the X-ray spectrum include the

Are the Models for Type Ia Supernova Progenitors Consistent with the Properties of Supernova Remnants? [PDF]
We explore the relationship between the models for progenitor systems of Type Ia supernovae and the properties of the supernova remnants that evolve after the explosion.
