The Time-dependent Supersymmetric Configurations in M-theory and Matrix Models

open access: yes, 2005
In this paper, we study the half-supersymmetric time-dependent configurations in M-theory and their matrix models. We find a large class of 11D supergravity solutions, which keeps sixteen supersymmetries.

pp Wave Big Bangs: Matrix Strings and Shrinking Fuzzy Spheres [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
We find pp wave solutions in string theory with null-like linear dilatons. These provide toy models of big bang cosmologies. We formulate Matrix String Theory in these backgrounds.

Ubiquitination of transcription factors in cancer: unveiling therapeutic potential

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In cancer, dysregulated ubiquitination of transcription factors contributes to the uncontrolled growth and survival characteristics of tumors. Tumor suppressors are degraded by aberrant ubiquitination, or oncogenic transcription factors gain stability through ubiquitination, thereby promoting tumorigenesis.

Targeted protein degradation in oncology: novel therapeutic opportunity for solid tumours?

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Current anticancer therapies are limited by the occurrence of resistance and undruggability of most proteins. Targeted protein degraders are novel, promising agents that trigger the selective degradation of previously undruggable proteins through the recruitment of the ubiquitin–proteasome machinery. Their mechanism of action raises exciting challenges,

Prevalence, characteristics, and morphology of supernumerary teeth among patients visiting a dental institution in Rajasthan

open access: yesContemporary Clinical Dentistry, 2018
Context: Supernumerary teeth/tooth (ST) is a developmental anomaly of dentition. Variation in developmental and eruption pattern of ST can lead to the development of numerous complications in oral cavity.

Detecting homologous recombination deficiency for breast cancer through integrative analysis of genomic data

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study develops a semi‐supervised classifier integrating multi‐genomic data (1404 training/5893 validation samples) to improve homologous recombination deficiency (HRD) detection in breast cancer. Our method demonstrates prognostic value and predicts chemotherapy/PARP inhibitor sensitivity in HRD+ tumours.
