Non‐Hermitian and topological photonics: optics at an exceptional point

open access: yesNanophotonics, Volume 10, Issue 1, Page 403-423, January 2021., 2021
Abstract In the past few years, concepts from non‐Hermitian (NH) physics, originally developed within the context of quantum field theories, have been successfully deployed over a wide range of physical settings where wave dynamics are known to play a key role.

Displaced lepton flavour violating signatures of right-handed sneutrinos in U(1)′ supersymmetric models

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2017
We consider a U(1)′ extended supersymmetric model with a right-handed neutrino superfield which can generate light neutrino mass by Type I seesaw mechanism. The lighter superpartner of the right-handed neutrino could be the scalar dark matter.

Compressed supersymmetry and natural neutralino dark matter from top squark-mediated annihilation to top quarks [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
The parameters of the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model appear to require uncomfortably precise adjustment in order to reconcile the electroweak symmetry breaking scale with the lower mass limits on a neutral Higgs scalar boson.

Reheating after inflation by supersymmetry breaking

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2021
We study reheating after the end of inflation in models where the inflaton is the superpartner of goldstino and is charged under a gauged U(1) R-symmetry. We consider two classes of models – one is small field characterized by an almost flat Kähler space,

Gravitino cosmology helped by a right handed (s)neutrino

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2022
In this paper, we discuss interesting scenarios resulting from the interplay between the gravitino and the lightest right-handed (s)neutrino. We consider two gravitino mass regimes vastly separated, that is, m3/2=O(100) eV and m3/2≃100 GeV.

750 GeV Diphoton Excess from the Goldstino Superpartner [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review Letters, 2016
We interpret the di-photon excess recently reported by the ATLAS and CMS collaborations as a new resonance arising from the sgoldstino scalar, which is the superpartner of the Goldstone mode of spontaneous supersymmetry breaking, the goldstino. The sgoldstino is produced at the LHC via gluon fusion and decays to photons, with interaction strengths ...

Electric Dipole Moments in the Limit of Heavy Superpartners [PDF]

open access: greenPhysical Review Letters, 2002
Supersymmetric loop corrections induce potentially large CP-violating couplings of the Higgs bosons to nucleons and electrons that do not vanish in the limit of heavy superpartners. The Higgs-mediated CP-odd four-fermion operators are enhanced by tan^3 beta and induce electric dipole moments of heavy atoms which exceed the current experimental bounds ...

Effective field theory approach to trans-TeV supersymmetry: covariant matching, Yukawa unification and Higgs couplings

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2018
Dismissing traditional naturalness concerns while embracing the Higgs boson mass measurement and unification motivates careful analysis of trans-TeV supersymmetric theories.

Higher spin supersymmetry at the cosmological collider: sculpting SUSY rilles in the CMB

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2019
We study the imprint of higher spin supermultiplets on cosmological correlators, namely the non-Gaussianity of the cosmic microwave background. Supersymmetry is used as a guide to introduce the contribution of fermionic higher spin particles, which have ...
