Optimized Hybrid Learning Model for Strength Prediction of Textile Effluent Sludge‐Based Concrete

open access: yesEngineering Reports, Volume 7, Issue 12, December 2025.
Hybrid machine and deep learning models were developed to predict the mechanical performance of concrete incorporating textile effluent sludge (TES), highlighting its potential as a sustainable supplementary cementitious material. LSTM and SVM models achieved the highest accuracy for compressive and tensile strength prediction, respectively.

Long‐term mechanical properties of hybrid fiber‐reinforced engineered cementitious composite

open access: yesStructural Concrete, Volume 26, Issue 6, Page 7076-7089, December 2025.
Abstract Hybrid fiber‐reinforced engineered cementitious composites (hybrid ECC) employing short straight polyethylene (PE) and steel fibers have attracted growing interest in engineering applications due to their superior strength and ductility. In most studies, the mechanical properties of hybrid ECC were determined based on samples cured for 28 days,
