Effect of Classical and Quantum Superposition of Atomic States on Quantum Correlations

open access: yesAdvances in Mathematical Physics, 2023
In this paper, we report the effect of classical and quantum superposition of atomic states on quantum correlations. Coupled photon pairs generated in a ladder quantum beat laser using coherent-induced classical field and atomic state coherent ...

A Superposition Operator for the Refinement of Algebraic Models

open access: yesElectronic Notes in Theoretical Computer Science, 2001
AbstractThe development of computer languages or software artefacts from basic concepts to the final product is usually a process starting with an abstract model of a key concept and extending this by adding more detailed functionality for extended structural definitions.

Thermodynamic Pathways of Nonequilibrium Solidification in Wire‐Arc Additive Manufacturing Fe‐Based Multicomponent Alloy Structures

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Geometry‐driven thermal behavior in wire‐arc additive manufacturing (WAAM) influences microstructural evolution during nonequilibrium solidification of a chemically complex Fe–Cr–Nb–W–Mo–C nanocomposite system. By comparing different deposits configurations, distinct entropy–cooling rate correlations, segregation, and carbide evolution are revealed ...

In Situ Micromechanical Study of Bimodal γ′–γ″ Precipitate Assemblies in Ni–Cr–Al–Nb Superalloy

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
A Ni–Cr–Al–Nb superalloy with a bimodal γ′–γ″ precipitate distribution is developed. Composite precipitate assemblies form through heterogeneous nucleation, effectively impeding dislocation motion. Micropillar compression reveals high strength at room and elevated temperatures, governed by precipitate shearing, with coupled faulting mechanisms ...

Uniform continuity and Brézis–Lieb-type splitting for superposition operators in Sobolev space

open access: yesAdvances in Nonlinear Analysis, 2018
Using concentration-compactness arguments, we prove a variant of the Brézis–Lieb-Lemma under weaker assumptions on the nonlinearity than known before.

An Experimental High‐Throughput Approach for the Screening of Hard Magnet Materials

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
An entire workflow for the high‐throughput characterization and analysis of compositionally graded magnetic films is presented. Characterization protocols, data management tools and data analysis approaches are illustrated with test case Sm(Fe, V)12 based films.

On Spectral and Evolutional Problems Generated by a Sesquilinear Form

open access: yesСовременная математика: Фундаментальные направления, 2020
On the base of boundary-value, spectral and initial-boundary value problems studied earlier for the case of single domain, we consider corresponding problems generated by sesquilinear form for two domains.

From Shear to Sound: Mechanics–Acoustics Mapping of TPMS Lattices

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Triply periodic minimal surface (TPMS) lattices are mapped across mechanical and acoustic performance, revealing that descriptors validated in compression fail under shear. First‐time comparison with trusses included. A transition from porous to resonance‐driven absorption emerges at 25% density.

Optimal superposition enhancement of a mixed state by stochastic diagonal superposition-free operations

open access: yesResults in Physics, 2022
The resource theory of superposition is a generalization of coherence theory. A rigorous framework for quantifying superposition of linear independent states has been given by previous studies. In this paper, the optimal superposition enhancement of a mixed state is studied. Based on the l1 measure of superposition the optimal superposition enhancement

Precipitation Simulations of the O‐Phase in Ti2AlNb Alloys Processed by Laser Powder Bed Fusion

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Simulated and experimental evolution of the O‐phase volume fraction during postprocessing of a Ti‐21Al‐25Nb (at.%) alloy processed by laser powder bed fusion. With results of sensitivity to input parameters from a thorough and quantified analysis, the interfacial energy matrix/precipitate is the most relevant input parameter for the simulation of the O‐
