Magnetic doping of the topological insulator Bi2Te3 with erbium adatoms induces out‐of‐plane magnetism and breaks time‐reversal symmetry, opening a Dirac gap and driving a Fermi surface transition from hexagonal to star‐of‐David geometry. Microscopy, spectroscopy, and magnetic dichroism reveal atomically controlled magnetic interactions that tailor the

Fractional-Order PID Motion Control for AUV Using Cloud-Model-Based Quantum Genetic Algorithm
Aiming to improve the performance of motion for autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV), a fractional-order PID strategy is proposed. It is a more generalized form for the conventional integer-order PID controller, keeping its simplicity and utilizing the ...

Multivalued superposition operators in ideal spaces of vector functions.I
The paper is concerned with boundedness properties of nonlinear superposition operators generated by multi-valued functions f:Ω×Rm→P(Rn) between ideal spaces (Banach lattices) of vector functions.

Resolving the Structural Duality of Graphene Grain Boundaries
Cantilever ncAFM resolves the atomic structure of grain boundaries in graphene, revealing coexisting stable and metastable types. Both contain pentagon/heptagon defects, but metastable GBs show irregular geometries. Modeling shows metastable GBs form under compression, exhibiting vertical corrugation, while stable GBs are flat.

Self‐Cooling Molecular Spin Qudits
A material made of [GdEr] molecular dimers can encode a qudit and perform as a magnetic refrigerant. Microwave resonant pulses coherently manipulate its 16 spin states, while direct demagnetization measurements cool the material and a device down to temperatures below 1 K.

Superposition and entanglement of two-mode squeezed vacuum states
In this paper, by using the parity operator as well as the two-mode squeezing operator, we define new operators which by the action of them on the vacuum state of the two-mode radiation field, superposition of two two-mode squeezed vacuum states and ...

Opportunities of Semiconducting Oxide Nanostructures as Advanced Luminescent Materials in Photonics
The review discusses the challenges of wide and ultrawide bandgap semiconducting oxides as a suitable material platform for photonics. They offer great versatility in terms of tuning microstructure, native defects, doping, anisotropy, and micro‐ and nano‐structuring. The review focuses on their light emission, light‐confinement in optical cavities, and
