The principle of superposition for waves
In this paper we will argue that the superposition of waves can be calculated and taught in a simple way. We show, using the Gauss's method to sum an arithmetic sequence, how we can construct the superposition of waves - with different frequencies - in a simple conceptual way that it is easy to teach.

Electricity and magnetism are fundamentally interconnected, as represented by the symmetry in Maxwell’s equations. Much of the research on Gauss’s and Ampere’s laws has focused on their application in calculating electric or magnetic fields.

While the stress relaxation is a common phenomenon for polymers, its effect on the stress/strain accelerated aging of the hydrogenated nitrile butadiene rubber (HNBR) cannot be ignored.

A possible explanation of the superposition principle [PDF]
I tentatively suggest that the superposition principle of quantum mechanics is explicable in a mathematically natural way if it is possible to understand probability amplitudes as complex-valued logarithms. This notion is inspired by the fact that the quantum state may be interpreted as a measure of information.

Rheological equations of concrete state and relaxation of stress
Some approaches to the derivation of rheological equations of the mechanical state of concrete are considered and the principle of superposition of fraction deformations is justified in a nonlinear statement.

There are studies of students’ understanding of the concept of the electric field, the magnetic field, and the use of the superposition principle that have contributed to the creation of both educational strategies and assessment tools.

Entangled Qubit States and Linear Entropy in the Probability Representation of Quantum Mechanics
The superposition states of two qubits including entangled Bell states are considered in the probability representation of quantum mechanics. The superposition principle formulated in terms of the nonlinear addition rule of the state density matrices is ...

Analytical scannable‐shaped beam pattern synthesis via superposition principle
A shaped beam pattern (SBP) synthesis algorithm, which obtains the desired SBP in an analytical way, is proposed. The new algorithm describes the SBP with the weighted superposition of a set of pencil beam patterns (PBPs).

Quantum superposition of spacetimes obeys Einstein's Equivalence Principle [PDF]
We challenge the view that there is a basic conflict between the fundamental principles of Quantum Theory and General Relativity, and in particular the fact that a superposition of massive bodies would lead to a violation of the Equivalence Principle. It has been argued that this violation implies that such a superposition must inevitably spontaneously

Spontaneous symmetry breaking and superposition of states in systems with dynamic chaos
The article discusses one of the typical problems described by the equations of nonlinear dynamics—forced oscillations in a system with W-potential. It focuses, in particular, on chaotic oscillations in the presence of dissipation. In this case the state
