Superradiance, 2015
Superradiance is a radiation enhancement process that involves dissipative systems. With a 60 year-old history, superradiance has played a prominent role in optics, quantum mechanics and especially in relativity and astrophysics. In General Relativity, black-hole superradiance is permitted by dissipation at the event horizon, that allows for energy ...

Superradiance: A numerical study
Physical Review A, 1987The full set of Weisskopf-Wigner equations describing the spontaneous radiative decay of a system of up to four excited two-level atoms and many field modes is integrated numerically. Measures of collimation and of photon-photon directional correlation are evaluated and demonstrate the tendency of the photons to form a single ray.

Microcavity quantum superradiance
Journal of Optics B: Quantum and Semiclassical Optics, 2000Two-dipole superradiance in a planar symmetrical microcavity has been investigated for the first time in the space-time domain by a controlled femtosecond excitation of two ensembles of molecules located at a mutual distance R on the plane parallel to the cavity mirrors.

AbstractThe statistical aspects of exciton systems are considered. Calculations show that the non‐Bose character of the statistics plays a fundamental role in forming the exciton echo signal, self‐induced transparency, and other superradiant effects. As application of the general theory new phenomena as exciton nutation and forced exciton induction are

Anomalous Giant Superradiance in Molecular Aggregates Coupled to Polaritons [PDF]
In this study, we unveil an eccentric superradiance phenomenon in molecular aggregates coupled to surface plasmon polaritons. Through the quantization of electromagnetic fields in media, we demonstrate that superradiance can be significantly enhanced by ...
