Unbounded supersolutions of some quasilinear parabolic equations: A dichotomy [PDF]
We study unbounded (viscosity) supersolutions of the Evolutionary p-Laplace Equation in the slow diffusion case. The supersolutions fall into two widely different classes, depending on whether they are locally summable to the power p-2 or not. Also the Porous Medium Equation is studied.

The sub-supersolution method for weak solutions [PDF]
Summary: We extend the method of sub- and supersolutions in order to prove existence of \(L^1\)-solutions of the equation \(-\Delta u = f(x,u)\) in \(\Omega\), where \(f\) is a Carathéodory function. The proof is based on the Schauder's fixed point theorem.

Our model is formulated as a leader–follower stochastic game, where the venue is the leader and a representative LP is the follower.

ABSTRACT We analyze the problem of a profit‐maximizing electricity producer, subject to carbon taxes, who decides on investments into CO2$\rm CO_2$ abatement technologies. We assume that the carbon tax policy is random and that the investment in the abatement technology is divisible, irreversible, and subject to transaction costs.
