Programme Partnership Arrangement Evaluation 2014: A primary research feedback report

open access: yes, 2015
The UK's Department for International Development (DFID) is one of Oxfam's most strategically important partners. The Programme Partnership Arrangement (PPA) is a major element of Oxfam's relationship with DFID, providing valuable opportunities for ...

On an explicit correspondence between nbc-basis, chambers and minimal complex for real supersolvable arrangements

open access: yesOn an explicit correspondence between nbc-basis, chambers and minimal complex for real supersolvable arrangements
In this paper we give a very natural description of the bijections between the set of cells in the minimal CW-complex homotopy equivalent to the complement of a complexified real supersolvable arrangement A, the nbc-basis of the Orlik-Solomon algebra associated to A and the set of chambers of A.

On the Finite Group Which Is a Product of Two Subnormal Supersolvable Subgroups

open access: yesMathematics, 2022
Let G be a finite group that is a product of two subnormal ( normal) supersolvable subgroups. The following are interesting topics in the study of the structure of G: obtaining the conditions in addition to guarantee that G is supersolvable and giving ...

Lattice and order properties of the poset of regions in a hyperplane arrangement [PDF]

open access: yesAlgebra Universalis, 2003
We show that the poset of regions (with respect to a canonical base region)of a supersolvable hyperplane arrangement is a congruence normal lattice. Specifically, the poset of regions of a supersolvable arrangement of rank k is obtained via a sequenceof ...

Supersolvable LL-lattices of binary trees [PDF]

open access: yesDiscrete Mathematics, 2005
Some posets of binary leaf-labeled trees are shown to be supersolvable lattices and explicit EL-labelings are given.

Supersolvability of complementary signed-graphic hyperplane arrangements

Australas. J Comb., 2004
The authors study the graphic arrangenment associated to complementary signed graphs consisting of positive and negative graphs such that their union is the complete graph (the reference on arrangements of hyperplanes is the book by \textit{P. Orlik} and \textit{H.
