Near‐Infrared Organic Photovoltaic Electrodes for Subretinal Neurostimulation

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Organic photovoltaic electrodes based on the D18:Y6 blend enable precise and light‐controlled activation of retinal ganglion cells in a degenerating retina. NIR Light‐driven activation of retinal ganglion cells, tunable stimulation parameters, and biocompatibility with human retinal organoids highlight their potential for next‐generation prosthetics ...

Using shock generator for the fuel mixing of the extruded single 4-lobe nozzle at supersonic combustion chamber

open access: yesScientific Reports
The importance of the fuel injection configuration on the propulsion efficiency of high-speed vehicles is apparent. In this article, the use of an annular extruded 4-lobe nozzle for the injection of fuel jet in a supersonic combustor of a scramjet engine

A Smart Bio‐Battery Facilitates Diabetic Bone Defect Repair Via Inducing Macrophage Reprogramming and Synergistically Modulating Bone Remodeling Coupling

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This research presents a novel implantable bio‐battery, GF‐OsG, tailored for diabetic bone repair. GF‐OsG generates microcurrents in high‐glucose conditions to enhance vascularization, shift macrophages to the M2 phenotype, and regulate immune responses.

Modern CFD applications for the design of a reacting shear layer facility [PDF]

open access: yes
The RPLUS2D code, capable of calculating high speed reacting flows, was adopted to design a compressible shear layer facility. In order to create reacting shear layers at high convective Mach numbers, hot air streams at supersonic speeds, rendered by ...

Multifunctional Microstructured Surfaces by Microcontact Printing of Reactive Microgels

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Reactive poly(N‐vinylcaprolactam‐co‐glycidyl methacrylate) microgels are used as functional inks to create surface‐grafted arrays on glass via microcontact printing. The patterns (10–50 µm widths and spacings) enable stable binding and post‐functionalization with dyes and peptides.

The low sonic boom and aerodynamic optimization with trim constraint of supersonic jet

open access: yesHangkong gongcheng jinzhan
The abatement of sonic boom noise level is a decisive issue for supersonic transport of next generation. The low sonic boom optimization always make the configuration to a trend of higher swept and longer distribution of the wing along the fuselage, which

Fully unsteady subsonic and supersonic potential aerodynamics for complex aircraft configurations for flutter applications [PDF]

open access: yes
A general theory for study, oscillatory or fully unsteady potential compressible aerodynamics around complex configurations is presented. Using the finite-element method to discretize the space problem, one obtains a set of differential-delay equations ...

Reconfigurable Magnetic Soft Microrobot for Acoustically Triggered Targeted Bacterial Sterilization

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Reconfigurable magnetic soft microrobots integrate in situ‐grown piezoelectric zinc oxide nanorods that produce reactive oxygen species upon acoustic excitation. Combining magnetically guided transport with thermally induced planar reconfiguration, the microrobots achieve targeted delivery and enhanced bacterial sterilization through efficient on ...
