Supersonic Nozzle Optimization Design with Spline Curves Fitting the Nozzle Profiles [PDF]

open access: yesXibei Gongye Daxue Xuebao, 2018
Supersonic nozzle contour optimization design was applied to 0.6m×0.6m continuous transonic wind tunnel to improve flow quality in the test section. The Mach number root mean square deviation with the design value was chosen as optimization target.

New Transonic Tests of HB-2 Hypersonic Standard Models in the VTI T-38 Trisonic Wind Tunnel

open access: yesAerospace
Recent experience has shown that test results of standard wind tunnel models under off-design conditions could be a useful aid in preparations of some nonstandard wind tunnel tests.

Ferrocene Derivatives Enable Ultrasensitive Perovskite Photodetectors with Enhanced Reverse Bias Stability

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Novel ferrocene derivatives (e.g., FcPhc2) are used as an ultrathin layer hole‐blocking layer, reducing hole injection from the Ag contact. This results in an ultralow noise spectral density of 1.2 × 10−14 A Hz−1/2, and a high specific detectivity of 8.1 × 1012 Jones at −0.5 V.

Photoactivation of NV Centers in Diamond via Continuous Wave Laser Illumination of Shallow As‐Implanted Nitrogen

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study demonstrates an alternative method of creating charge‐stable negatively charged nitrogen vacancy (NV−) centers close to the diamond surface without high‐temperature annealing. By illuminating nitrogen‐implanted regions with a continuous‐wave 405 nm laser, NV− centers are induced, exhibiting electron spin coherence properties suitable for ...

Control of Reynolds number in a high speed wind tunnel [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Aerospace Technology and Management, 2009
A conceptual control model for the Reynolds number test based on isentropic relations was established for the supersonic wind tunnel. Comparison of the system response of the model simulation and the actual wind tunnel test data was made to design the ...

Functional Materials for Environmental Energy Harvesting in Smart Agriculture via Triboelectric Nanogenerators

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This review explores functional and responsive materials for triboelectric nanogenerators (TENGs) in sustainable smart agriculture. It examines how particulate contamination and dirt affect charge transfer and efficiency. Environmental challenges and strategies to enhance durability and responsiveness are outlined, including active functional layers ...
