Hopf algebra structure of symmetric and quasisymmetric functions in superspace [PDF]

open access: yesJ. Combin. Theory Ser. A 166 (2019), 144-170, 2019
We show that the ring of symmetric functions in superspace is a cocommutative and self-dual Hopf algebra. We provide formulas for the action of the coproduct and the antipode on various bases of that ring. We introduce the ring sQSym of quasisymmetric functions in superspace and show that it is a Hopf algebra.

Manifest supersymmetry and the ADHM construction of instantons

open access: yes, 1994
We present the (0,4) superspace version of Witten's sigma model construction for ADHM instantons. We use the harmonic superspace formalism, which exploits the three complex structures common to both (0,4) supersymmetry and self-dual Yang-Mills theory.

Advances in Texturing and Thermoelectric Properties of a Calcium Cobaltite Ceramic via Combined Spark Plasma Sintering and Spark Plasma Texturing

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, Volume 35, Issue 1, January 2, 2025.
Calcium cobaltite [Ca2CoO3‐δ]0.62[CoO2] emerges as a promising p‐type thermoelectric material suitable for high‐temperature applications in the air. Employing a combination of spark plasma sintering and edge‐free spark plasma texturing, a highly textured polycrystalline ceramic is successfully fabricated.

Near horizon superspace [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 1998
The adS_{p+2} x S^{d-p-2} geometry of the near horizon branes is promoted to a supergeometry: the solution of the supergravity constraints for the vielbein, connection and form superfields are found. This supergeometry can be used for the construction of new superconformal theories.

Linearized off-shell 4+7 supergeometry of 11D supergravity

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2022
We describe the linearized supergeometry of eleven dimensional supergravity with four off-shell local supersymmetries. We start with a background Minkowski 11D, N=1 superspace, and an additional ingredient of a global, constant, G 2-structure which ...

Giant Topological Hall Effect and Colossal Magnetoresistance in Heusler Ferromagnet near Room Temperature

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, Volume 37, Issue 3, January 22, 2025.
Ferromagnetic shape memory Heusler alloy Ni2Mn1.4In0.6 exhibits colossal magnetoresistance (CMR) and giant topological Hall effect (THE) near room temperature, which is attributed to the enhanced spin chirality emerging from the formation of domains and domain walls, which in turn resulted from the combined effect of magnetic field induced martensite ...

Superspace formulation with a new and extended BRST

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2019
Superspace formulation is an elegant proposal to deal with BRST symmetries and Ward identities of a gauge theory. A new effective SU(N) QCD in a novel quadratic gauge has recently been introduced which throws light on interesting non perturbative ...

Quantum black hole entropy and the holomorphic prepotential of N=2 supergravity [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
Supersymmetric terms in the effective action of N=2 supergravity in four dimensions are generically classified into chiral-superspace integrals and full-superspace integrals.

The incommensurate composite YxOs4B4 (x = 1.161)

open access: yesActa Crystallographica Section B, Volume 80, Issue 6, Page 724-731, December 2024.
Tetragonal YxOs4B4 (x = 1.161) is an incommensurate composite of columns of Y atoms in a three‐dimensional Os4B4 framework. The structure was refined using the superspace approach.YxOs4B4 (x = 1.161) crystallizes as a tetragonal incommensurate composite of columns of Y atoms extending along [001] in an Os4B4 framework.

Distributions and integration in superspace [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Physics, 2018
Distributions in superspace constitute a very useful tool for establishing an integration theory. In particular, distributions have been used to obtain a suitable extension of the Cauchy formula to superspace and to define integration over the superball and the supersphere through the Heaviside and Dirac distributions, respectively.
