Advances in Texturing and Thermoelectric Properties of a Calcium Cobaltite Ceramic via Combined Spark Plasma Sintering and Spark Plasma Texturing

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, Volume 35, Issue 1, January 2, 2025.
Calcium cobaltite [Ca2CoO3‐δ]0.62[CoO2] emerges as a promising p‐type thermoelectric material suitable for high‐temperature applications in the air. Employing a combination of spark plasma sintering and edge‐free spark plasma texturing, a highly textured polycrystalline ceramic is successfully fabricated.

Superspace formulation with a new and extended BRST

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2019
Superspace formulation is an elegant proposal to deal with BRST symmetries and Ward identities of a gauge theory. A new effective SU(N) QCD in a novel quadratic gauge has recently been introduced which throws light on interesting non perturbative ...

Simple variables for AdS5×S5 superspace

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2015
We introduce simple variables for describing the AdS5×S5 superspace, i.e. PSU(2,2|4)SO(4,1)×SO(5). The idea is to embed the coset superspace into a space described by variables which are in linear (ray) representations of the supergroup PSU(2,2|4) by ...

Superspace crystallography: a key to the chemistry and properties

open access: yesIUCrJ, 2015
An overview is given to recent advances in the field of modulated molecular and inorganic crystals. The importance of detailed knowledge of the modulated structure to understand crystal chemistry and the functional properties of the modulated phases is ...

Distributions and integration in superspace [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Physics, 2018
Distributions in superspace constitute a very useful tool for establishing an integration theory. In particular, distributions have been used to obtain a suitable extension of the Cauchy formula to superspace and to define integration over the superball and the supersphere through the Heaviside and Dirac distributions, respectively.

N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 3 conformal superspace in four dimensions

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
We develop a superspace formulation for N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 3 conformal supergravity in four spacetime dimensions as a gauge theory of the superconformal group SU(2, 2|3).

Advanced thermoelectric performance of a textured ceramic composite: Encapsulation of NaxCoO2 into a triple‐phase matrix

open access: yesJournal of the American Ceramic Society, Volume 107, Issue 12, Page 7951-7965, December 2024.
Abstract Sodium cobaltite (NaxCoO2) is one of the most renowned and thermoelectrically promising p‐type cobalt oxide materials, showing exceptional performance in this domain. Nonetheless, its thermal instability in air renders it unsuitable for high‐temperature applications such as energy harvesting from industrial waste heat.

Projective Superspace Varieties, Superspace Quadrics and Non-Splitting

open access: yesDocumenta Mathematica, 2020
This article is a continuation of a previous article which concerned the splitting problem for subspaces of superspaces. We begin with a general account of projective superspaces. Subsequently, we specialise to subvarieties of "positive" projective superspaces.

DUALITY OF THE SUPERSTRING IN SUPERSPACE

open access: yesModern Physics Letters A, 1994
The evolution of a closed NSR string is considered in the background of constant graviton and antisymmetric fields. The σ-model action is written in a manifestly supersymmetric form in terms of superfields. The first order formalism adopted for the closed bosonic string is generalized to implement duality transformations and the constant dual ...

Tensor categories of weight modules of sl̂2$\widehat{\mathfrak {sl}}_2$ at admissible level

open access: yesJournal of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 110, Issue 6, December 2024.
Abstract The category of weight modules Lk(sl2)-wtmod$L_{k}(\mathfrak {sl}_2)\operatorname{-wtmod}$ of the simple affine vertex algebra of sl2$\mathfrak {sl}_2$ at an admissible level k$k$ is neither finite nor semisimple and modules are usually not lower‐bounded and have infinite‐dimensional conformal weight subspaces.
