Supertwistor realisations of AdS superspaces [PDF]

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2022
We propose supertwistor realisations of (p, q) anti-de Sitter (AdS) superspaces in three dimensions and $${\mathcal {N}}$$ N -extended AdS superspaces in four dimensions.

Orthorhombic charge density wave on the tetragonal lattice of EuAl4 [PDF]

open access: yesIUCrJ, 2022
EuAl4 possesses the BaAl4 crystal structure type with tetragonal symmetry I4/mmm. It undergoes a charge density wave (CDW) transition at TCDW = 145 K and features four consecutive antiferromagnetic phase transitions below 16 K. Here we use single-crystal

Circumnavigating collinear superspace [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2020
AbstractIn this paper, we extend the collinear superspace formalism to include the full range of$$ \mathcal{N} $$N= 1 supersymmetric interactions. Building on the effective field theory rules developed in a companion paper —Navigating Collinear Superspace[1] — we construct collinear superspace Lagrangians for theories with non-trivialF- andD-term ...

Modulation of the modulated magnetic structure of an Ho i-MAX phase described by a magnetic (3+2)-dimensional superspace group. [PDF]

open access: yesActa Crystallogr B Struct Sci Cryst Eng Mater
A rare complex incommensurate magnetic structure, an amplitude‐modulated structure which itself is modulated, was determined in the Ho‐based i‐MAX phase (Mo2/3Ho1/3)2GaC. It represents a particularly distinctive case of a 2‐k magnetic structure with no symmetry relation between the propagation vectors. The magnetic structures of the Ho‐based i‐MAX phase

The incommensurate composite YxOs4B4 (x = 1.161). [PDF]

open access: yesActa Crystallogr B Struct Sci Cryst Eng Mater
Tetragonal YxOs4B4 (x = 1.161) is an incommensurate composite of columns of Y atoms in a three‐dimensional Os4B4 framework. The structure was refined using the superspace approach.YxOs4B4 (x = 1.161) crystallizes as a tetragonal incommensurate composite of columns of Y atoms extending along [001] in an Os4B4 framework.

Navigating collinear superspace [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2020
AbstractWe introduce a new set of effective field theory rules for constructing Lagrangians with$$ \mathcal{N} $$N= 1 supersymmetry in collinear superspace. In the standard superspace treatment, superfields are functions of the coordinates$$ \left({x}^{\mu },{\theta}^{\alpha },{\theta}^{\dagger \overset{\cdot }{\alpha }}\right) $$xμθαθ†α⋅, and ...

A superspace approach to branes and supergravity [PDF]

open access: greenarXiv, 2000
Recent developments in string and M theory rely heavily on supersymmetry suggesting that a revival of superspace techniques in ten and eleven dimensions may be advantageous. Here we discuss three topics of current interest where superspace is already playing an important role and where an improved understanding of superspace might provide additional ...

Superspace supervortices [PDF]

open access: greenPhysics Letters B, 1994
We present the theory describing supersymmetrical vortices in the curved superspace of the (1,0) supergravity. The action is defined as a (1,0) locally supersymmetric $SU(2)/U(1)$ coset perturbed by the cosmological constant-like term. The perturbation is such that it preserves the integrability of the coset model.

Occupational modulation in the (3+1)-dimensional incommensurate structure of (2S,3S)-2-amino-3-hydroxy-3-methyl-4-phenoxybutanoic acid dihydrate. [PDF]

open access: yesActa Crystallogr C Struct Chem
The (3+1)‐dimensional incommensurate structure of (2S,3S)‐2‐amino‐3‐hydroxy‐3‐methyl‐4‐phenoxybutanoic acid dihydrate (I·2H2O), in which one of the water molecules is disordered over two positions and each position exhibits occupational modulation, can be well refined in superspace, and in the average and supercell approximations.

Analysis of magnetic structures in JANA2020. [PDF]

open access: yesActa Crystallogr B Struct Sci Cryst Eng Mater
The magnetic option of the crystallographic program JANA2020 is a specific tool for solution, analysis, and description of modulated and non‐modulated magnetic structures.JANA2020 is a program developed for the solution and refinement of regular, twinned, modulated, and composite crystal structures. In addition, JANA2020 also includes a magnetic option
