Superstable nonequilibrium states
The Journal of Chemical Physics, 1995Relaxation times were measured from the decay to period-one attractors, a period-two attractor, and a period-three attractor in two reaction processes: the voltammetric oxidations of ethanol and 1-propanol. The results provide strong evidence that a periodic state that can undergo a subharmonic bifurcation is most stable near the point where the ...

Superstable differential fields
Journal of Symbolic Logic, 1992In this paper we study differential fields of characteristic 0 (with perhaps additional structure) whose theory is superstable. Our main result is that such a differential field has no proper strongly normal extensions in the sense of Kolchin [K1]. This is an approximation to the conjecture that a superstable differential field is differentially closed

Models of superstable horn theories
Algebra and Logic, 1985The main aim of this paper is the development of a structural theory for models of complete Horn theories with non-maximal spectra. A termal lemma, proved in the paper, permits to prove the existence of a prime model over any independent set of models of a complete Horn theory with non-maximal spectrum.
