Ultraviolet and Infrared Divergences in Superstring Theory [PDF]
Superstring theory is known to be free from ultraviolet divergences but suffers from the usual infrared divergences that occur in quantum field theories. After briefly reviewing the origin of ultraviolet finiteness of superstring theory we describe recent progress towards the understanding of infrared divergences in superstring theory.

Exotic Origins of Tensionless Superstrings [PDF]
A new type of tensionless superstring theory, called the Inhomogeneous tensionless superstring, has been recently introduced. This is characterised by a residual symmetry algebra on the worldsheet richer in structure than the previously known symmetry algebra related to Homogeneous tensionless superstring.

Quantisation of type IIB superstring theory and the matrix model

We construct a class of cubic gauge-invariant actions for superstring field theory, gauge fix one of them and show that it reproduces the known superstring S-matrix. In our construction boson string fields are taken in the 0 picture and fermion string fields in the −12 picture.
