Effective gravitational couplings of higher-rank supersymmetric gauge theories
When placed on four-manifolds, N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 2 gauge theories couple to topological invariants of the background via two functions A and B. General considerations allow for these functions to be fixed in terms of the Coulomb moduli and other ...

N=1 SUPERSYMMETRIC SPIN-CHARGE SEPARATION IN EFFECTIVE GAUGE THEORIES OF PLANAR MAGNETIC SUPERCONDUCTORS [PDF]
We present an N=1 supersymmetric extension of a spin-charge separated effective SU(2)×US(1) "particle-hole" gauge theory of excitations about the nodes of the gap of a d-wave planar magnetic superconductor.

Bmeson mixing in effective theories of supersymmetric Higgs bosons [PDF]
We study a minimal flavor-violating extension of the minimal supersymmetric standard model, where higher-dimensional operators in the K\"ahler potential induce tree-level nonholomorphic Higgs couplings that are controlled by the scale of the physics ...

Vacuum Stability in Supersymmetric Effective Theories
The main topics discussed in this thesis are supersymmetric low-energy effective theories and metastability conditions in generic non-renormalizable models with global and local supersymmetry. In the first part we discuss the conditions under which the low-energy expansion in space-time derivatives preserves supersymmetry implying that heavy multiplets

Non-anti-commutative deformation of effective potentials in supersymmetric gauge theories [PDF]
We studied a nilpotent Non-Anti-Commutative (NAC) deformation of the effective superpotentials in supersymmetric gauge theories, caused by a constant self-dual graviphoton background. We derived the simple non-perturbative formula applicable to any NAC (star) deformed chiral superpotential.
