Gauge and Supersymmetric Invariance of a Boundary Bagger-Lambert-Gustavsson Theory

open access: yes, 2012
In this paper we will discuss the effect of a having a boundary on the supersymmetric invariance and gauge invariance of the Bagger-Lambert-Gustavsson (BLG) Theory.

Dimensional Enhancement via Supersymmetry

open access: yesAdvances in Mathematical Physics, 2011
We explain how the representation theory associated with supersymmetry in diverse dimensions is encoded within the representation theory of supersymmetry in one time-like dimension.

Renormalization of supersymmetric gauge theories

open access: yesNuclear Physics B, 1975
A manifestly invariant renormalization procedure is formulated for the supersymmetric non-Abelian gauge theories. All ultraviolet infinites are shown to be eliminated by a common wave function and charge renormalization.

Sitting on the Domain Walls of N=1 Super Yang-Mills

open access: yes, 2005
In pure N=1 supersymmetric Yang-Mills with gauge group SU(N), the domain walls which separate the N vacua have been argued, on the basis of string theory realizations, to be D-branes for the confining string.

Meson mass and confinement force driven by dilaton

open access: yes, 2005
Meson spectra given as fluctuations of a D7 brane are studied under the background driven by the dilaton. This leads to a dual gauge theory with quark confinement due to the gauge condensate.

Current in supersymmetric gauge theories

open access: yesNuclear Physics B, 1979
Abstract A construction principle for the supercurrent emphasizing its transformation property under the superconformal group is applied to the supersymmetric extension of massless gauge theories. A suggestion for a superspace current containing all improved currents of the superconformal group is made.

Supersymmetric lattice gauge theory

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 1983
Abstract A supersymmetric lattice gauge model is proposed. By using the resummation method, the strong coupling behaviour of this model is investigated, and it is shown that fermion-antifermion and scalar-scalar condensates are formed. However, cancellation between these condensates occurs, and supersymmetry is not broken dynamically.
