Decoupling in supersymmetric gauge theories

Physical Review D, 1989
The supersymmetric decoupling theorem is used to determine the low-energy effects of heavy-particle mass operators. This is achieved by exploiting the superconformal anomaly, as given by the trace of the supercurrent, in conjunction with renormalization-group techniques.

No triangles on the moduli space of maximally supersymmetric gauge theory

, 2010
Maximally supersymmetric gauge theory in four dimensions has a remarkably simple S-matrix at the origin of its moduli space at both tree and loop level.

Quantization of supersymmetric gauge theories

Physical Review D, 1975
We consider the quantization of supersymmetric gauge theories in a rather general class of gauges. A generating functional is constructed that is supersymmetric, for which we formulate the Ward--Takahashi identities of the local gauge invariance. The existence of a supermultiplet of ghost fields is established.

Lectures on supersymmetric gauge theory

Classical and Quantum Gravity, 2002
The paper consists of the lecture notes of a series of lectures given by the author on some recent developments in supersymmetric gauge theories. These include electric-magnetic duality, the AdS/CFT correspondence and Seiberg-Witten theory. The main author's conclusions are the following: (1) Seiberg-Witten theory conclusively demonstrates the ...

Constraints on higher derivative operators in maximally supersymmetric gauge theory

, 1998
Following the work of Dine and Seiberg for SU(2), we study the leading irrelevant operators on the moduli space of = 4 supersymmetric SU(N) gauge theory. These operators are argued to be one-loop exact, and are explicitly computed.

Geometrical origin of supersymmetric gauge theories

Physical Review D, 1989
Summary: We show that the kinematical properties of any supersymmetric gauge theory may be obtained by mapping a geometric group structure of loops in superspace into some particular Lie group. The underlying group structure of the usual constrained supergauge theories turns out to be the group of even (bosonic) loops.

Radiative corrections in supersymmetric gauge theories

Physical Review D, 1985
The effect of radiative corrections in a general supersymmetric gauge theory is studied when the gauge symmetry is partially broken at the tree level. Certain no-renormalization theorems are proved.

Hidden symmetries of gauge potentials in supersymmetric gauge theories

Physical Review D, 1985
We discuss the transformation theory of spinor gauge potentials in extended supersymmetric Yang-Mills theories. The ''hidden symmetry'' transformations recently shown to carry a representation of an infinitely graded loop algebra are shown to generate symmetries of the spinor gauge potentials.
