Supersymmetric quantum mechanics

1996
In this chapter we will start with the definition of the so-called N-extended super- symmetric quantum mechanics. This approach, actually for N = 2, has first been formulated by Nicolai [Nic76] in his search for supersymmetry in non-relativistic quantimi systems related to models of statistical physics.

Supersymmetric Quantum Mechanics

1991
We summarize recent developments of supersymmetric quantum mechanics. We start from the susy oscillator, mention the factorization schemes and discuss the order of levels of Schrodinger operators as an example. We mention soliton equations and the inverse scattering problem and discuss susy breaking and index problems for Dirac operators.

Duality and supersymmetric quantum mechanics

Journal of Physics A: Mathematical and General, 2002
Summary: Given a SUSY potential \(\Phi(x)\) in non-relativistic quantum mechanics, a pair of potentials \(V_{\pm}(x)\) can be constructed to describe the bosonic and fermionic sectors of the theory. We apply a form of electric-magnetic duality to such a pair of potentials and derive conditions that must be satisfied in order for the images of the ...

Spacetime-supersymmetric quantum mechanics

Classical and Quantum Gravity, 1985
A modification of the action of Brink and Schwarz (1981) for a particle with spacetime supersymmetry allows quantisation in a Lorentz-covariant gauge, defines the usual supersymmetry-covariant derivatives, and implies equations of motion which hold for all massless representations of supersymmetry.

Locally supersymmetric quantum mechanics

Physical Review D, 1984
It is shown that a large class of supersymmetric models in quantum mechanics with dynamical supersymmetry breaking (generalizations of the one proposed by Witten) do not have a consistent extension to local supersymmetry.

Supersymmetric quantum mechanics and superdeformed nuclei

Physical Review Letters, 1991
Summary: We study supersymmetric quantum mechanics with particular emphasis on factorization as a key to understanding the recently discovered isospectral gamma ray cascades seen in neighboring superdeformed nuclei. Explicit realization of the general algebraic approach leads to state doubling in the odd-\(A\) nucleus.
