THE MINIMAL SUPERSYMMETRIC STANDARD MODEL [PDF]

open access: yesModern Physics Letters A, 1996
The structure of the MSSM is reviewed. We first motivate the particle content of the theory by examining the quantum numbers of the known standard model particles and by the requirement of anomaly cancellation. Once the particle content is fixed we can write down the most general renormalizable superpotential.

Celestial Topology, Symmetry Theories, and Evidence for a NonSUSY D3‐Brane CFT

open access: yesFortschritte der Physik, Volume 73, Issue 4, April 2025.
Abstract Symmetry Theories (SymThs) provide a flexible framework for analyzing the global categorical symmetries of a D$D$‐dimensional QFTD$\text{QFT}_{D}$ in terms of a (D+1)$(D+1)$‐dimensional bulk system SymThD+1$\text{SymTh}_{D+1}$. In QFTs realized via local string backgrounds, these SymThs naturally arise from dimensional reduction of the linking

Impact of vacuum stability constraints on the phenomenology of supersymmetric models

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2019
We present a fast and efficient method for studying vacuum stability constraints in multi-scalar theories beyond the Standard Model. This method is designed for a reliable use in large scale parameter scans.

Fast and interpretable support vector classification based on the truncated ANOVA decomposition

open access: yesGAMM-Mitteilungen, Volume 48, Issue 1, March 2025.
Abstract Support vector machines (SVMs) are an important tool for performing classification on scattered data, where one usually has to deal with many data points in high‐dimensional spaces. We propose solving SVMs in primal form using feature maps based on trigonometric functions or wavelets.

Simultaneous search for extra light and heavy Higgs bosons via cascade decays

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2017
Models with extended Higgs sectors can contain several additional Higgs states, heavier or lighter than the SM Higgs boson. The couplings of lighter extra states to SM particles can be strongly reduced, leading to small cross sections for their direct ...

Visible GeV ALP from TeV Vector‐Like Leptons

open access: yesFortschritte der Physik, Volume 73, Issue 3, March 2025.
Abstract A model is presented where a GeV axion‐like‐particle (ALP) is predicted in a large portion of the parameter space due to the presence of explicit Peccei–Quinn (PQ) symmetry‐breaking terms in an exotic leptonic sector. The latter provides a solution to the muon g−2$g-2$ anomaly, within the framework of the Linear Seesaw neutrino mechanism.

Long live the Higgs portal!

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2019
In Higgs portal models of fermion dark matter, scalar couplings are unavoidably suppressed by strong bounds from direct detection experiments. As a consequence, thermal dark matter relics must coexist with mediators in a compressed spectrum of dark ...

Double Copy From Tensor Products of Metric BV■‐Algebras

open access: yesFortschritte der Physik, Volume 73, Issue 1-2, February 2025.
Abstract Field theories with kinematic Lie algebras, such as field theories featuring color–kinematics duality, possess an underlying algebraic structure known as BV■‐algebra. If, additionally, matter fields are present, this structure is supplemented by a module for the BV■‐algebra.

A supersymmetric electroweak scale seesaw model

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2017
In this paper we propose a novel supersymmetric inverse seesaw model which has only one additional Z 6 symmetry. The field content is minimal to get a viable neutrino spectrum at tree-level. Interestingly, the inverse seesaw scale in our model is related

Vacuum oscillations in the supersymmetric standard model [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review D, 1995
We analyze the spectrum and mixing among neutrinos in the minimal supersymmetric standard model with explicit breaking of [ital R] parity. It is shown that (i) the mixing among neutrinos could be large and (ii) the nonzero neutrino mass is constrained to be [le]10[sup [minus]5] eV from arguments based on baryogenesis.
