The supersymmetric standard model and strings
Nuclear Physics B - Proceedings Supplements, 1994Abstract I discuss recent work in connection with the SUSY versions of the standard model which might be obtained from 4-dimensional string theories. In particular, it is shown how one can obtain definite predictions for the structure of SUSY-breaking soft terms in moduli/dilaton dominated SUSY-breaking schemes.

Supersymmetric Extensions of the Standard Model
2000These four lectures are meant as an elementary introduction to the physics of realistic supersymmetric models. In the first lecture, after reviewing the motivations for low-energy supersymmetry and the recipe for the construction of supersymmetric lagrangians, we introduce the Minimal Supersymmetric extension of the Standard Model, and comment on ...

The supersymmetric standard model
1992We give an introduction to N = 1 supersymmetry and supergravity and review the attempts to construct models in which the breakdown scale of the weak interactions is related to supersymmetry breaking. Special emphasis is put on the discussion of the minimal supersymmetric extension of the standard model of strong and electroweak forces.

Aspects of the Exceptional Supersymmetric Standard Model
Nuclear Physics B - Proceedings Supplements, 2010The existence of weak scale supersymmetry (SUSY) is theoretically well motivated, because of its ability to stabilise the electro-weak symmetry breaking (EWSB) scale. One of the benefits of weak scale SUSY with conserved R-parity is that the lightest supersymmetric particle (LSP) is absolutely stable and provides a weakly interacting massive particle ...

Supersymmetric Extensions of the Standard Model
1999The status of the Minimal Supersymmetric Model (MSSM) is reviewed before some recent developments on coupling unification are described. The different generalisations of the MSSM are then discussed with respect to their theoretical interest as well as new experimental results: R-parity violation, non-minimal models, supersymmetry-breaking sector, quark

Supersymmetric Extension of the Standard Model
2005The present lectures contain an introduction to supersymmetry, a new symmetry that relates bosons and fermions, in particle physics. The motivation to introduce supersymmetry is discussed. The main notions of supersymmetry are introduced. The supersymmetric extension of the Standard Model — the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model — is considered in ...

Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model
2013Up to now, we have reviewed the formulation of supersymmetric theories. We now apply it to the standard model to obtain its minimal supersymmetric extension, the minimal supersymmetric standard model. In this chapter, we first supersymmetrize the SM, then introduce soft breaking terms, and finally indicate the phenomenological constraints on the ...
