Abstract We consider a planar Coulomb gas ensemble of size N$N$ with the inverse temperature β=2$\beta =2$ and external potential Q(z)=|z|2−2clog|z−a|$Q(z)=|z|^2-2c \log |z-a|$, where c>0$c>0$ and a∈C$a \in \mathbb {C}$. Equivalently, this model can be realised as N$N$ eigenvalues of the complex Ginibre matrix of size (c+1)N×(c+1)N$(c+1) N \times (c+1)

The superfield quantisation of a superparticle action with an extended line element [PDF]
A massive superparticle action based on the generalised line element in N = 1 global superspace is quantised canonically. A previous method of quantising this action, based on a Fock space analysis, showed that states existed in three supersymmetric ...

de Sitter Excited State in Heterotic E8×E8${\rm E}_8 \times {\rm E}_8$ Theory
Abstract A novel duality sequence is devised to study late‐time cosmology in the heterotic E8×E8${\rm E}_8 \times {\rm E}_8$ setup of Horava and Witten with dynamical walls that are moving towards each other. Remarkably, the dimensionally reduced 4‐dimensional theory does not violate NEC and no bouncing or ekpyrotic phase is observed.

Search for supersymmetry using heavy flavour jets with the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider [PDF]
The Standard Model of particle physics, despite being extremely successful, is not the ultimate description of physics. The nature of dark matter is not well described, unification of the forces is not achieved and the theory is plagued by a hierarchy ...

WEAK SCALE SUPERSYMMETRY FROM THE MULTIVERSE [PDF]
The CERN Large Hadron Collider (LHC) has not found any experimental evidence yet for Supersymmetric (SUSY) particles. This has pushed the limits on the masses of SUSY particles in the multi-TeV region high enough to question whether nature is finetuned ...

STRING THEORY: UNRAVELING THE FABRIC OF THE UNIVERSE
This study presents a comprehensive exploration of string theory as a unifying framework for understanding the fundamental structure of the universe. By modeling particles as one-dimensional strings and examining their vibrational modes, this research ...

Quantum control and quantum speed limits in supersymmetric potentials
Supersymmetry allows one to build a hierarchy of Hamiltonians that share the same spectral properties and which are pairwise connected through common super-potentials.

Active Learning in Physics: From 101, to Progress, and Perspective
In this review, the concept of active learning is introduced to the physicists at the level of beginner without requirement on background in machine learning. It includes most of the latest applications of active learning in branches of physics, covering but not being limited to quantum information, high energy physics, and condensed matter physics. It

Partial N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 2 supersymmetry breaking and deformed hypermultiplets
We study partial supersymmetry breaking from N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 2 to N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 1 by adding non-linear terms to the N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 2 supersymmetry transformations.
