Interference effects in t t ¯ $$ t\overline{t} $$ production at the LHC as a window on new physics

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2019
Many extensions of the Standard Model (SM) contain (pseudo)scalar bosons with masses in the TeV range. At hadron colliders, such particles would predominantly be produced in gluon fusion and would decay into top quark pair final sates, a signal that ...

Phenomenology of supersymmetry with broken R-parity [PDF]

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 1985
In some phenomenological supersymmetric models R-parity (+1 for particles, -1 for sparticles) is spontaneously broken along with tau-lepton number Lτ by a vacuum expectation value υτ of the tau sneutrino ντ. To avoid excess stellar energy loss through majorons, there should also be explicit Lτ violation through right-handed neutrinos.

Dark matter, sparticle spectroscopy and muon (g − 2) in SU(4) c × SU(2) L × SU(2) R

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2018
We explore the sparticle mass spectra including LSP dark matter within the framework of supersymmetric SU(4) c × SU(2) L × SU(2) R (422) models, taking into account the constraints from extensive LHC and cold dark matter searches.

E6 motivated UMSSM confronts experimental data

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2020
We test E 6 realisations of a generic U(1)′ extended Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (UMSSM), parametrised in terms of the mixing angle pertaining to the new U(1)′ sector, θ E 6 $$ {\theta}_{E_6} $$ , against all currently available data, from ...

Analysis of the TeV-scale mirage mediation with heavy superparticles

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2017
We discuss effective models derived from a supersymmetric model whose mediation mechanism of supersymmetry (SUSY) breaking is namely mirage mediation.

A supersymmetric theory of baryogenesis and sterile sneutrino dark matter from B mesons

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2020
Low-scale baryogenesis and dark matter generation can occur via the production of neutral B mesons at MeV temperatures in the early Universe, which undergo CP-violating oscillations and subsequently decay into a dark sector.

Supersymmetry

open access: yes, 2015
This chapter presents the motivations for low-energy supersymmetry, the construction of realistic models, the various schemes for generating soft terms (gravity mediation, gauge mediation, anomaly mediation, and gaugino mediation), their collider ...

Search for supersymmetry at √s= 8 TeV in final states with jets and two same-sign leptons or three leptons with the ATLAS detector [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
A search for strongly produced supersymmetric particles is conducted using signatures involving multiple energetic jets and either two isolated leptons (e or μ) with the same electric charge, or at least three isolated leptons.

Solving the muon g-2 anomaly in CMSSM extension with non-universal gaugino masses

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2018
We propose to generate non-universal gaugino masses in SU(5) Grand Unified Theory (GUT) with the generalized Planck-scale mediation SUSY breaking mechanism, in which the non-universality arises from proper wavefunction normalization with lowest component
