The status of supersymmetry phenomenology

Pramana, 2000
In this brief review the following topics are discussed: Direct searches for SUSY in mSUGRA: a brief review of the relevant mass limits, the clean trilepton signal, the hunt for the third generation of sfermions, Direct searches beyond mSUGRA: search prospects in models with nonuniversal gaugino masses, search prospects in models with nonuniversal ...

Breaking of supersymmetry degeneracy and phenomenological conditions

Physical Review D, 1987
The supersymmetric potential in the presence of temperature-dependent and soft-supersymmetry-breaking terms is analyzed. Compatibility with phenomenological conditions rules out the SU(5) model with the 75-dimensional Higgs field and allows the SU(5) model with the 24-dimensional Higgs field only in a restricted region of parameters.

Phenomenology of Supersymmetry

1988
In these lectures I will discuss current trends in the construction of phenomenological models involving supersymmetry, supergravity, and the superstring. It will be assumed that you are familiar with the hierarchy problem as a motivation for employing supersymmetry, and not much time will be spent on the technical aspects of constructing effective ...

Selected problems of supersymmetry phenomenology

Uspekhi Fizicheskih Nauk, 2001
Several problems of phenomenological supersymmetry are considered, including the hierarchy problem; gauge coupling unification; proton decay in Grand Unification Theory; Higgs boson spectrum and the upper bound on the lightest Higgs boson mass; and dark matter.

Supersymmetry phenomenology and the nature of the lightest supersymmetric particle

Physical Review D, 1988
We show that in addition to the photinolike and Higgsino-like states usually considered as candidates for the lightest supersymmetric particle (LSP), there is yet one more state in the neutralino sector which could be the LSP in minimal supergravity models.

Supersymmetry and Supergravity : The Phenomenological View

1985
In this review I discuss in some detail the structure and physical consequences of global and local supersymmetric (SUSY) gauge theories. Section 1 contains motivations for SUSY theories, whilst Sections 2 and 3 explain what supersymmetry is, and what are its physical properties.
