Tachyonic de Sitter Solutions of 10d Type II Supergravities

open access: yesFortschritte der Physik, Volume 69, Issue 7, July 2021., 2021
Abstract Cosmological models of the early or late universe exhibit (quasi) de Sitter space‐times with different stability properties. Considering models derived from string theory, the swampland program does not provide for now a definite characterisation of this stability.

Interpolation of partial and full supersymmetry breakings in N=2 supergravity

open access: yesNuclear Physics B, 2019
We discuss an N=2 supergravity model that interpolates the full and the partial supersymmetry breakings. In particular, we find the conditions for an N=0 Minkowski vacuum, which is continuously connected to the partial-breaking (N=1 preserving) one.

Gravitational waves from first-order electroweak phase transition in a model with light sgoldstinos

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2022
We study previously unexplored possibility of triggering the first order electroweak phase transition (EWPT) by interactions of the Standard Model (SM) particles with the sector responsible for low scale supersymmetry breaking.

TASI Lectures on M Theory Phenomenology [PDF]

open access: yes, 2000
These lectures discuss some of the general issues in developing a phenomenology for Superstring Theory/M Theory. The focus is on the question: how might one obtain robust, generic predictions. For example, does the theory predict low energy supersymmetry

Muon g − 2 in gauge mediation without SUSY CP problem

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2021
We discuss gauge mediated supersymmetry breaking models which explain the observed muon anomalous magnetic moment and the Higgs boson mass simultaneously.

The scale of supersymmetry breaking as a free parameter [PDF]

open access: yes, 2001
While supersymmetric extensions of the Standard Model can be fully described in terms of explicitly broken global supersymmetry, this description is only effective.

Resummation of terms enhanced by trilinear squark-Higgs couplings in the MSSM

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2021
We analyze the appearance of the trilinear squark-Higgs couplings x q in Green functions in the Higgs sector of the MSSM and in threshold corrections to the SM. The results are constraints on maximal powers of x q in QCD-related loop corrections.

Scale hierarchies in particle physics and cosmology

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2018
I describe the phenomenology of a model of supersymmetry breaking in the presence of a tiny (tuneable) positive cosmological constant. It utilises a single chiral multiplet with a gauged shift symmetry, that can be identified with the string dilaton (or ...

On a reinterpretation of the Higgs field in supersymmetry and a proposal for new quarks

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2017
In the framework of supersymmetry, when R-parity is violated the Higgs doublet superfield Hd can be interpreted as another doublet of leptons, since all of them have the same quantum numbers. Thus Higgs scalars are sleptons and Higgsinos are leptons.

t − b − τ Yukawa unification in non-holomorphic MSSM

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2021
We show that in the CMSSM with the non-holomorphic soft SUSY breaking terms, the Yukawa coupling unification of the third family fermions at the GUT scale, called t − b − τ Yukawa unification (YU), is possible under the recent collider and Dark Matter ...
