Resummation of terms enhanced by trilinear squark-Higgs couplings in the MSSM

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2021
We analyze the appearance of the trilinear squark-Higgs couplings x q in Green functions in the Higgs sector of the MSSM and in threshold corrections to the SM. The results are constraints on maximal powers of x q in QCD-related loop corrections.

Tachyonic de Sitter Solutions of 10d Type II Supergravities

open access: yesFortschritte der Physik, Volume 69, Issue 7, July 2021., 2021
Abstract Cosmological models of the early or late universe exhibit (quasi) de Sitter space‐times with different stability properties. Considering models derived from string theory, the swampland program does not provide for now a definite characterisation of this stability.

Data-driven analysis of a SUSY GUT of flavour

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2022
We present a data-driven analysis of a concrete Supersymmetric (SUSY) Grand Unified Theory (GUT) of flavour, based on SU(5) × S 4, which predicts charged fermion and neutrino mass and mixing, and where the mass matrices of both the Standard Model and the

The role of supersymmetry phenomenology in particle physics [PDF]

open access: yes, 2000
Supersymmetry phenomenology is an important component of particle physics today. I provide a definition of supersymmetry phenomenology, outline the scope of its activity, and argue its legitimacy.

The current status of fine-tuning in supersymmetry

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2020
In this paper, we minimize and compare two different fine-tuning measures in four high-scale supersymmetric models that are embedded in the MSSM. In addition, we determine the impact of current and future dark matter direct detection and collider ...

A singular way to search for heavy resonances in missing energy events

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2020
The phase space of visible particles in missing energy events may have singularity structures. The singularity variables are devised to capture the singularities effectively for given event topology.

Interpolation of partial and full supersymmetry breakings in N=2 supergravity

open access: yesNuclear Physics B, 2019
We discuss an N=2 supergravity model that interpolates the full and the partial supersymmetry breakings. In particular, we find the conditions for an N=0 Minkowski vacuum, which is continuously connected to the partial-breaking (N=1 preserving) one.

TASI Lectures on M Theory Phenomenology [PDF]

open access: yes, 2000
These lectures discuss some of the general issues in developing a phenomenology for Superstring Theory/M Theory. The focus is on the question: how might one obtain robust, generic predictions. For example, does the theory predict low energy supersymmetry

The scale of supersymmetry breaking as a free parameter [PDF]

open access: yes, 2001
While supersymmetric extensions of the Standard Model can be fully described in terms of explicitly broken global supersymmetry, this description is only effective.
