Digging deeper for new physics in the LHC data
In this paper, we describe a novel, model-independent technique of “rectangular aggregations” for mining the LHC data for hints of new physics. A typical (CMS) search now has hundreds of signal regions, which can obscure potentially interesting anomalies.

Data-driven analysis of a SUSY GUT of flavour
We present a data-driven analysis of a concrete Supersymmetric (SUSY) Grand Unified Theory (GUT) of flavour, based on SU(5) × S 4, which predicts charged fermion and neutrino mass and mixing, and where the mass matrices of both the Standard Model and the

Aspects of Split Supersymmetry [PDF]
We explore some fundamental differences in the phenomenology, cosmology and model building of Split Supersymmetry compared with traditional low-scale supersymmetry. We show how the mass spectrum of Split Supersymmetry naturally emerges from theories where the dominant source of supersymmetry breaking preserves an $R$ symmetry, characterize the class of

Pole mass determination in presence of heavy particles
We investigate the determination of the Higgs-boson propagator poles in the MSSM. Based upon earlier works, we point out that in case of a large hierarchy between the electroweak scale and one or more SUSY masses a numerical determination with DR Higgs ...

Lightest Higgs boson decays h → MZ in the μ from ν supersymmetric standard model
We study the lightest Higgs boson decays h → MZ in the μ from ν supersymmetric standard model (μνSSM), where M is a vector meson (ρ, ω, ϕ, J/Ψ, Υ). Compared to the minimal supersymmetric standard model (MSSM), the μνSSM introduces three right-handed ...

Advantages and Disadvantages of Supersymmetry Breaking at Low Energies [PDF]
The breaking of supersymmetry is usually assumed to occur in a hidden sector. Two natural candidates for the supersymmetry breaking transmission from the hidden to the observable sector are gravity and the gauge interactions. Only the second one allows for supersymmetry breaking at low energies.

Gluino-mediated electroweak penguin with flavor-violating trilinear couplings
In light of a discrepancy of the direct CP violation in K → ππ decays, ε ′ /ε K , we investigate gluino contributions to the electroweak penguin, where flavor violations are induced by squark trilinear couplings.

Gauge-Mediated Supersymmetry Breaking within the Dynamical Messenger Sector [PDF]
We consider the idea of combining the supersymmetry breaking and messenger sectors in models of gauge-mediated supersymmetry breaking. We discuss the advantages and problems of such models, and present an existence proof by constructing an explicit example.

Comparative studies of 2HDMs under the Higgs boson precision measurements
We perform comparative studies for four types of the two Higgs Doublet Models (2HDMs) under the precision measurements of the Standard Model (SM) Higgs observables at the proposed Higgs factories.

Interpolation of partial and full supersymmetry breakings in N=2 supergravity
We discuss an N=2 supergravity model that interpolates the full and the partial supersymmetry breakings. In particular, we find the conditions for an N=0 Minkowski vacuum, which is continuously connected to the partial-breaking (N=1 preserving) one.
