Supply Chain Coordination Model with Retailerfs Risk Attitudes [PDF]
One of the major concerns in supply chain management is the coordination among various members of a supply chain comprising suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, wholesalers and retailers. We consider a newsvendor model in a two level supply chain with

Evaluation of control strategies for managing supply chain risks using Bayesian belief networks [PDF]
Supply chains have become complex and vulnerable and therefore, researchers are developing effective techniques in order to capture the complex structure of the supply network and interdependency between supply chain risks.

Protein O‐glycosylation in the Bacteroidota phylum
Species of the Bacteroidota phylum exhibit a unique O‐glycosylation system. It modifies noncytoplasmic proteins on a specific amino acid motif with a shared glycan core but a species‐specific outer glycan. A locus of multiple glycosyltransferases responsible for the synthesis of the outer glycan has been identified.

Boundaries of photosynthesis: adaptations of carbon fixation in extreme environments
Photosynthesis faces challenges from environmental extremes of temperature, pH, and salinity, limiting gas diffusion, modifying membrane fluidity, and destabilizing photochemical and biochemical reactions. Photosynthetic organisms have evolved unique adaptations overcoming these stresses and maintaining their photosynthetic activity.

Modeling and analysis of supply chain risk system under the influence of partners' collaboration [PDF]
Confining the focus to individual enterprise, traditional risk management literature seems to echo inadequately in the context of collaborative supply chain, partially due to its exclusion of correlation of risks across companies.

In human monocytic cells THP‐1, a limited uptake of native—not oxidized—LDL/VLDL induced expression of scavenger receptor A and cellular adhesion. Induction was inhibited by lysosomotropic (WR‐1065) and lipophilic (BHT) antioxidants and by siRNAs against ferritinophagy.
