Pediatric Supracondylar Fracture

A 5-year-old boy presented to the emergency department (ED) via ambulance after a fall on an outstretched arm while playing with friends. The child complained of significant left elbow and arm pain. He denied any other injuries. On physical examination, the arm was grossly deformed just above the elbow (Figure 1).
