A New Supraglottic Airway, the Elisha Airway Device: A Preliminary Study
Anesthesia & Analgesia, 2004We describe the Elisha Airway Device (EAD), a new reusable supraglottic ventilatory device. Its uniqueness consists of its ability to combine three functions in a single device: ventilation, blind and/or fiberoptic-aided intubation without interruption of ventilation, and gastric tube insertion.

Endosonographic evaluation of the mediastinum through the i-gel O2 supraglottic airway device
Tumori, 2019Introduction: Endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS) is an endoscopic diagnostic procedure combining flexible fibrobronchoscopy with ultrasound techniques; it allows transbronchial needle aspiration biopsy for the diagnosis and staging of mediastinal masses. We

Practical Way to Use Supraglottic Airway Device
Current Pediatric ReviewsWe read a review of case reports published on Current Pediatric Reviews 2024 about the use of I-gel® in neonatal complicated intubation, and we decided to write a commentary on the benefits and limitations of using supraglottic airways in neonatal age, with a specific focus on Igel.
