Molecular Engineering for Enhanced Second‐Order Nonlinear Response in Spontaneously‐Oriented Evaporated Organic Films

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
Intramolecular bridge‐locking frustrates detrimental anti‐parallel packing in evaporated organic films. This design enhances net polar orientation, leading to a twofold off‐resonance increase in the second‐order nonlinear susceptibility (χ(2)) without electric‐field poling.

Bay‐functionalized [7]Helicene Bilayer Nanographenes

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
Bay‐functionalized [7]helical bilayer nanographenes are synthesized via a scalable, modular strategy enabling late‐stage diversification. Tailored methoxy, diketone, and phenazine substitutions precisely tune redox, photophysical, and chiroptical properties, delivering strong electronic circular dichroism and bright circularly polarized luminescence ...

Nanophotonic Strategies for Chiral Biosensing: Nanoparticles, Metasurfaces, Magneto‐Optical, and Quantum Approaches

open access: yesAdvanced Photonics Research, EarlyView.
Recent advances in nanophotonics‐based chiral biosensing approaches are comprehensively reviewed, highlighting key trends, advantages, and limitations of each technology. Special attention is given to emerging strategies that exploit magneto‐optical and quantum plasmonic phenomena to enhance sensitivity down to the level of a few molecules, or even a ...

NEW HALO- AND ORGANOTIN (IV) PHENYLARSENIATO ADDUCTS AND DERIVATIVES

open access: yesScientific Study & Research: Chemistry & Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Food Industry, 2013
Four new phenylarseniato adducts and organotin derivatives have been synthesized and studied by infrared. The suggested structures are polymeric, (SnX4; X = Cl, Br) and SnPh3Cl while being discrete for SnPh2Cl(PhAsO3H)2isoBu2NH2. When OH- - - Cl, NH - - -
